She''s bothering me a little less than she used to because I do not care
about her anymore.

I'm seeing her about once a month for a few hours.

Last night when I saw her I went to Amazon and bought Methylcobalamin lozenges for her because she was taking the useless Cyanocobalamin.

I use Methyl-B12 lozenges myself. They are better, but the cyanocobalamin version isn’t useless... it’s not as easily absorbed, so you just need to take more of it. It was nice of you to get it for her...

It’s nice of you to visit her at all.

Cool Smirk neighbor who likes to garden on our property

I am really short on patience.
And not up to dealing with anything.

Hubby has been talking to an otherwise helpful neighbor who asked if she could put some plants
and mulch in our 2 little plots in the front.

=-=-=-=-=
Hubby grew up in a huge city and has no idea about watering plants
and I have no interest in taking care of them.
=-=-=-=-=

A few days ago the neighbor left a note on the door that we had not been watering the plants. I saw that three plants had dried up.
Hubby pointed out to the neighbor that our house faces the western sun directly (The sun can be unrelenting.)

=-=-
Hubby acts confused. He says that we get lots of rain.
I remind him that the roof has an overhang and the plants
get almost no rain.

-=-=-=-=-=
The neighbor is otherwise nice and hubby likes her so that is good.

I would have politely refused your neighbor's request to put those plants in, and her note about watering them would not have been well received... I probably would have marched over there to tell her since she wanted the plants in there, she could water them herself lol.

It seems like your husband has been very nice about the whole situation. Is he good natured in general?
Do you think he will be watering the plants more frequently now?

can't you have your husband ask her nicely if she would water the plants since he has a brown thumb?

I'm certainly not going to water them.
Hubby deals with her. I stay inside.

A few days ago she added a plant that is supposed to be hardy in the sun.

She's a member of the association board so she is helpful to hubby.

I don't think you should and if she wants plants she should water them herself or do a rain dance.

I think you can politely leave a note on your plant area that she is planting them in. I'm a brown thumb. So if the plants are getting planted and
need watered someone who can keep them alive will need to stop by
and water them. Sorry, my husband didn't realize water was necessary.

It sounds like having the plants on your property are your neighbors will, and desire, and not yours.

The bottom line is that it is your property. If you don't want plants there it's okay, and your choice.

Tell her, or send a letter saying thank you for the plant ideas, but that you are not interested. I hope that this saves you, and your neighbor from future anger, and bad feelings about the whole matter. It's a small matter, and something that is not necessary. BF

I think that the plants will die at some point and she will give up.

In the meantime, she is enjoying being her version of neighborly.
