I'm sorry that you have to deal with more car issues, and you couldn't have your hair done.
Are you back to work today, or next Monday? Either way, it's too soon... (((HUGS))) NOW I can REALLY see why you wouldn't want to f- around with a new med right now, but I wish that you had the time/opportunity to try, since you don't seem ready to go back to work right now  I know that in the past you have been able to manage work well even when you've been miserable, but I wish you didn't have to do that

The person at the dealership said that I had left the over head light on --
thus the battery twice needed to be changed. When the battery died the first time, I did consider the over head light switch. I don't know why I would have turned on that switch but something did make me consider it -- perhaps because I am aware that I am goofy and barely functioning and prone to do stupid things. I wish that I had checked it at the time so as to save the SECOND hassle with the car. Hubby and I are expected to pick up the car today. M |

In a relatively short period of time, I had to have my car jump started twice because I left the head lights on, once because I left the overhead light on, and again because the mechanic who inspected my car left the headlights on.
I keep my headlights on auto all the time now. It's been about a year since I've done anything like that, so I guess I was really lucky because I never even had to replace my battery. So I think you can cut yourself some slack. I think I win the goofy prize

Cleaning lady came over for the first time since DEC 2017.
I'm not sure she cleaned much but she did pick up and do laundry. She's having health issues and some pain. She and hubby always enjoy eating lunch together and talking. This time hubby got some Burger King sandwiches for them with coupons he collects. Dad sent some money to us in celebration of his and Mom's anniversary. This is money he pays my siblings and me so that we will not visit them. M |

I didn't realize it had been so long since the cleaning lady had been over. I'm glad that your husband enjoys her company, but maybe she would have cleaned more if he wasn't so chatty lol. Do you think you will have her back again?
It's weird that your dad sends you money so that you won't visit. How did that start? Did he ever say it outright like, "Hey, here's some money, don't come over?" Or has it always been a silent understanding? Don't you have a sister who lives nearby, who is pretty involved with them? How does he put up with her if he is so private? |
