Kay,
Your suggestion about a tricyclic is good but I do not want to go there. They moved away from them when Prozac and other groups of safer meds became available and I am not comfortable with the old ones. 'Hard to write about it so I cannot explain here. I guess I would not feel safe. M |

I can understand that. You have a hard enough time with meds with fewer possible side effects...
I think it's "funny" that as many (and as major) side effects as some of the new meds have, most of the old ones have more. I've been through some real horror shows from both. |

One thing has helped me lately.
I have done some work from home for a political campaign. When I finished a several hours--long-task last night, I felt overwhelmingly at PEACE for a good while. There's no other way to explain it -- I felt o.k.  =-=- I've had to hide it from hubby because he believes this kind of stuff is stressful to me. But it is not the case. =-=- |

Why would I be dishonest with the mdoc?
Anyway, she gave me the same meds. =-=- She's a btch for having me in tears before I left . . . . telling me I need to go on disability and not willing to listen to me when I said that I did not want to. And the medical plan at work is important to me at the moment whereas what the state will do for me might be crummy and involve a long wait. THIS IS NOT UP TO HER. THE DOC DOES NOT MAKE THIS DECISION FOR ME -- whether I work or not. =-=- I work three days a week. Sometimes two. Much of my work is from home (email / texts / software ). M |
