I am sorry she upset you. I believe that you get some stability from work.
If I stopped working I would be a mess.

Next time she tells you this.

Ask her if you get denied for disability, is she going to
pay you the amount your due. Since it was her idea.

Because many don't get approved. And I agree with
Bizi you get help with the working for your stability.

If you can work, and still want to, tell her to go f- herself. It is your life, and you know what you are capable of, and what works for you, and what doesn't. I don't know how assertive you can be, but you need to tell her once and for all that the subject is NOT up for discussion because it only upsets you :hug::hug::hug:

I went into a downward spiral after I had to stop working, and I don't think I've really ever fully recovered from it... but it was my decision to make, not that I really had a choice in the matter.

I really want to keep this pdoc. She is better than the last three I had.

I wish she would be ok with my status of feeling depressed & crummy but
stable.

I've been reporting my symptoms to her at each monthly visit for the past
18 months.

She sees me crying each visit.

I am as open as a wound.
