I'm so glad that, aside from that one night, you have been getting more sleep now, Mari. I know how hard you have struggled with that in the past

what helped your sleeping? was it the new medication or the air conditioner?
How do you feel? How is your anxiety and depression?

Mari

I totally get why the one night of little sleep. You were afraid
the air conditioning would go off again. SO you had trouble with
sleep. That is totally understandable.

Glad you started sleeping again.

I have not changed any medication -- the pharmacies have not been able to get
ahold of the the Pristiq.

The heat for two days kept me from sleeping and perhaps I needed a couple of days to be caught up -- I have no idea. I am unable to figure out the patterns.

Wednesday at work was difficult because the sleepiness and difficulty functioning, yet I am trying to stay up -- I really hate to sleep unless it is day time.

Years ago, both my acupuncturist AND my therapist (who did hypnosis) discovered that my current sleep issues could be related to sleep things
that happened in an earlier life.

(They were into past-lives)-- I am not making this up.)

They both tried to help me solve the problem for this current lifetime
and made no progress with regard to my sleep.
WHAT WAS THE POINT OF ALL THAT IF THERE IS NOT A WORKABLE SOLUTION?!

It's interesting that you tried acupuncture and hypnosis. I wonder if it would help if you tried those things again with people who aren't crazy.

When I was fighting sleep, staying up all night, and trying to sleep during the day, I don't think I functioned as well as you do, Mari. I don't know how you do it

Mari

I totally understand the not sleeping with the heat. I have been
having problems going to sleep lately. Because its hot in my
house. So I get to sleep about the time I need to go somewhere.
Because about 3 am my house will cool down. No clue why
all the sudden its hot in here. Were working on that.

Dale is staying with Dan at the other house and working on some
taxes that he is behind on. And trying to work.
So he will be by today to look at the thing. Central Air isn't supposed
to get hot. But I can't regulate the thing.

I'm sorry that you haven't gotten any better, Mari

I wish that you didn't have the f'ing problems you had getting the Prestiq from your pharmacy. It's a shame because it may have helped. But nothing has been easy for you as far as medications go whether you have been able to fill the scripts or not

Have you considered calling/emailing your pdoc to ask her to prescribe something else? I know at one point, you were thinking about trying to go back on one of the older Tricyclics that you had some luck with in the past. I forget what happened with that. If your pdoc protested, and without a good enough reason, perhaps you could push her a little.

Do you have an appointment coming up with her soon? I know it's a b- getting an appointment and actually getting there...

I will be thinking of you, and hoping that things get better for you soon.
Love to you today (((HUGS)))
