Default e-coli in Romaine

Romaine E. coli outbreak 218: when is it safe to eat salad again? - Vox
Cooking kills the e-coli most of the time.

I've told hubby not to eat raw romaine for a while.

Told him to eat other greens like kale.

So I asked Hubby if he stopped Romaine and he says he forgot.

I explained to him he can eat anything he wants: iceberg, cilantro (he eats it
by the bowlful), parsley, . . . )
I think he heard me this time.

I heard reports about the contaminated romaine, but the last time I was at the grocery store, there was plenty of it still on the shelves. I figured they would have pulled it or something...
