Lightbulb Psychedelics for mental health

I ran across something about psychedelics/psilocybin for depression and looked for an
article or two:

Frontiers | Quality of Acute Psychedelic Experience Predicts Therapeutic Efficacy of Psilocybin for Treatment-Resistant Depression | Pharmacology
Quote:
It is a basic principle of the “psychedelic” treatment model that the quality of the acute experience mediates long-term improvements in mental health.

Right.
'Seems like it might not be a good idea for bipolar, particularly, at least
until we learn more.

It's not uncommon for me to become paranoid during manic episodes. And during some, I have become psychotic and have had auditory and visual hallucinations, so I wouldn't be willing to dip my toe in those waters lol.

A couple of times when I have had MJ edibles I have experienced very mild psychedelic experiences, but they have not bothered me, or triggered anything tho.
