My mom thinks it was all just anxiety. I get very anxious when people come in to town and stay here. In the past week my uncle came to visit for a couple of days and as soon as he left my niece came to visit for a couple of days. Both visits were very lovely and we all had a great time sitting around talking and catching up with each other, but visitors just make me anxious and uncomfortable.

I'm glad that you had a nice time with your visitors
 Maybe the disruption to your routine, a lack of the level of privacy you're used to, and a bit of invasion of your space caused your anxiety? Are your visitors gone now? Do you feel less anxious? And did you sleep better last night, too? |

I did sleep well again last night. Everything is back to normal around here. My uncle left on Thursday and my niece snuck out early yesterday morning. I still feel rather anxious since I am supposed to visit with a friend in 2 weeks that I haven't seen in over 20 years. I don't know why visiting with people, even those that I know make me so anxious.

glad that you slept well again.
Glad that you have your routine back. I would be anxious about seeing some one who I had not seen in 20 years too. Are they coming to your house or are you meeting some where? ((((HUGS)))) bizi

Our families are getting together for old time sake to go tubing down a river near where we live. We used to do this as kids but I haven't done it since then. It should be a relaxing time, but as I have said before, I get anxious around other people.

I would be nervous, too.
I hope that you can get past those feelings and get comfortable fairly quickly so you can enjoy yourself tho  Will this be an overnight visit? If so, what will the accommodations be like? |

This will be an overnight visit. It will be meeting up together at my friend's parent's cottage on Saturday before going to the river for our tubing trip. Afterward we will head back to their cottage to get cleaned up for dinner and sitting around a fire for the evening. The cottage has 3 bedrooms in it, 1 for my friend's parent's, which happens to be my parent's best friends, 1 for my parents and 1 for myself. My friend that I haven't seen in years has a cottage just a few miles away from there so she will be staying there with her husband and kids. Past that, I don't know what the plans are, I am just going along with the crowd to have a good time.
