I was supposed to hear from the surgeon this week about my blood work and other things, but I haven't gotten a call from her yet. She is in her suburban office seeing patients today, so maybe I will hear from her. But if I don't hear anything by 3, I will call.the office.

After all that leg work preparing for my appointment this morning, I didn't need any of that paperwork lol. The doctor looked at me, and interviewed me, and that was enough to get re-certified. They gave me some info on other dispensaries that always have my favorite CBD MJ, and gave me some coupons. But I don't know that I can drive myself to those places because they are pretty far away.

Last night our upstairs neighbors had a bunch of people over. They got going at 5:30pm and got progressively worse. I closed the window, but I could hear them loud and clear. They kept whooping and hollering for God knows what reason. The banging was the worst it has ever been, and went on for HOURS. Just before 10, I went up the stairs and told them to cut the s-. They had all their guests go out on the deck when I knocked on the door. Ellen told me it was the TV, which we can't even hear from downstairs. I told her that was BS, and I wasn't imagining things. Shortly after 10, I stopped hearing the banging, so they must have told everybody to go home, but that doesn't make up for the hours it went on...

I called the office and Janet told me she would say something to Ellen if she saw her. WTF. Is that an acceptable way to deal with things?! They're just going to quiet down for short periods of time, then pull all this s- again over and over again.

Corey's talking about moving again, but we don't have the money to do it right now. It would be ideal if they would move us to another apartment, but they would raise our rent by $200, and Corey refuses to pay the extra money because it's not our fault we have to move because we're not at fault...

The last thing I want is for Corey to go to the office because he has a bad temper and would make threats, but at some point, I may have to have him come with me because they are obviously not taking me seriously enough.

I'm getting agitated again.

In Lafayette or even here in Oxford. The other tenants would
probably just call the cops.

I realize why you don't want to do that. But sure would be tempting.

The should make them move or let you move without the extra money because
if you do move it will be an inconvenience.

The next time they are REALLY BAD, I probably will call the cops to file a noise complaint... especially if I know they have a lot of people up there cuz they won't be able to get rid of them all fast.

I am keeping track of all these incidents...

There is a law in Massachusetts called "The Right To Quiet Enjoyment." It holds the landlord accountable for taking care of these issues. We're not at the point where we can use that to our advantage yet. George did try to help, and whatever he did did help, but only for a little while, and I think that's what's going to continue to happen. If I'm right, in time, I could try to use the law to force the leasing office to move us to a different apartment at the same rent if they refuse to do so otherwise... but I would pay the extra $200 to just get away from them.

All that being said, I can't keep thinking/talking about this issue because it's driven my anxiety way up again. I need to treat my anxiety adequately even if that means staying at home, so that it doesn't snowball into something ugly.
So I need to talk to Corey again about not not talking about moving, etc. And only talk about things if something significant happens.
I need to be stable for surgery.

I can usually mind f- myself when I'm overwhelmed, and within a few days, I can handle issues much better. I don't know why I can't do that with this situation. I will have to try harder and try using different methods, and maybe it will help.


I talked to the surgeon yesterday, and most of my blood work came back very good... except my kidney function panel
I am still in stage 3 tho. She thinks that the numbers may be off because I may have been dehydrated, and there may be something to that because mag. citrate worked the day before I saw her.
She wants the labs redrawn, so I asked my PCP if he would order them and fax the results to her, and he will do that. I think I will have them drawn Tuesday so she will have the results by the end of the week.

The possible kidney function changes don't seem to be an issue. She's going to give me a call next week to discuss a surgery date. She understands that I would like to have it done sooner rather than later.

I am sorry for all of your neighbor problems, I think you should call the cops when this happens again. So sorry for your anxiety. You have a lot to be anxious about.

Before they went crazy again, I told my pdoc I had enough Klonopin and didn't need a script. I don't have an appointment with her for another month...
Looks like I will be needing to call her for a refill now.

Last night was horrible...

Our upstairs neighbor Ellen got into a loud altercation with a woman in a car in the driveway to our apartment complex (which is very close to us) about what I heard the woman say was something about "a cloud of smoke" coming from their deck, which I assume had something to do with pot, or another drug, they were smoking up there. By the time I poked my head out there, the car was about to drive away, but Ellen continued to flip out and stomp all over the deck after that for just a couple of minutes- then it was all over... too late to call the cops.

Corey was f'ing wasted and wanted to call the cops to make a noise complaint, but by then, the altercation was long over, and everyone up there was just talking normally, so there was nothing to call about, but he wouldn't stop talking about calling for what seemed like forever. When we went out to smoke cigarettes, he kept talking loudly about calling the cops, drugs, calling them really nasty names, and saying he was going to go upstairs to beat the s- out of people, etc. and wouldn't shut up outside or inside. He was out of control...

So, HE became the problem... a BIG problem for me because he was so drunk I couldn't reason with him, and he wouldn't stop. So much for making things easier on me. I finally ended up losing my temper with him and yelling at him until he did stop. He doesn't remember any of that this morning.

I am going to call the office on Tuesday about Ellen's altercation with the woman in the car tho. I think that is appropriate.

That's twice in 3 days that I've lost my temper over this BS (the first time being when I went upstairs about the banging). That may not be such a bad thing. I'm asserting myself and trying to take back some control. I'd rather have done it in a different way, but I guess I've just gotten tired of just taking s- all the time.

I would say call your pdocs office and explain the neighbor situation.
Sorry they are being such a pain in the arss.

corey sounds awful.

Oddly, I’m feeling better about things at the moment. Maybe I just needed to vent and tell everyone to f- off?

Also, Ellen made a grave mistake by getting into the altercation with that woman last night. The office staff really isn’t going to like that...

Before Corey started drinking last night, I told him that if he got that drunk again, I was going to leave and go somewhere else, but that didn't stop him from drinking 16 beers. I have no idea how much he had to drink Saturday, but it was a lot more than that tho.

Our neighbors were home, but didn't have anyone over, and didn't make a peep all day or night. But Corey started talking s- about them several times, and I had to remind him that we agreed we weren't going to do that anymore

He was being so annoying that I just decided to turn in early, and went to bed around 10:30. He followed me, which is a good thing, because he had had enough to drink.

He has to go back to work tomorrow
And he won't drink much, or at all, tonight because of that

For some reason, my anxiety isn't high this morning.
Apparently the extra 100mg of Gabapentin is working out well for me now, and I'm dealing with all this BS better, at least today lol
I think it's because I'm beginning to view everyone involved as children who can't control themselves. They're not going to stop the bad behavior, but it may change how I view it, and the impact it has on me.
