Thank you ladies :grouphug:
I love you too, Bizi (((HUGS))) I can do most things I'm used to doing/want to do now, but I still have some limitations. I still can't lift anything heavy without pain, and that includes Rocky and Dottie. I still can't push the vacuum either, and tried to crouch down to clean the front of the oven, and I realized quickly that that was not going to happen. I haven't been doing a lot, but I've been very tired, so I have been napping most days. I walked through CVS yesterday and it was difficult. I don't know if it was just because I haven't been getting out enough or if something is going on with my MS, or both. I have a couple of errands to run today. I can't drag my heels like I normally do. I know I will need a nap, so I will have to get home early enough to do that. So, unfortunately, I won't be able to catch up on the forum- at least this morning. It takes me forever to do it. |
Kay
You seem to be forgetting you had major and I mean major surgery. It honestly takes more than 4 weeks to recover. And you can't get back to being a super Kay right away even after 4 weeks. I am thinking if you keep working at it and take slow trips out. And I don't mean slow while your out. Just take a few stops at a time. And then when you are walking get a little done. I think you need to remember your special, and that you need to take it slow. Let Corey continue to do some things for you. Donna :grouphug: |
I agree with donna.
Ask corey to help with things....you need time to heal. YOU HAD MAJOR SURGERY!!!!! ((((HUGS))) bizi |
Most of the time, I really don't feel like I had surgery at all. It's like I've forgotten all about it already. I know that's weird. And the BR issues seem somehow separate to me. THAT has my attention.
There is definitely something funky going on with the MS. I can tell by the way I'm walking, and when I came home yesterday I had a hard time lifting my feet up when I was going up the stairs. I've also been dropping things. I broke the cats' water bowl yesterday and it broke into a million pieces. I've had these symptoms before (except for a new muscle that's spasming in my left leg), so maybe they are flaring up for some reason and this isn't a true relapse? That could be wishful thinking. We had Chinese food last night. I ate a lot, and got sick. I'm not feeling well this morning either, and I have to go grocery shopping at some point today... |
(((((HUGS for you)))))
I feel for you. bizi |
Kay,
It's good to see your updates. You get things done while dealing with what's in front of you. M |
How is it going?

You couldn't be more right, Mari. That's exactly what I do (when I can) so I can deal with everything without getting overwhelmed. I waited a while yesterday for my stomach to sort itself out before I finally took an Imodium. Then I waited a little while longer before I went out and dragged my a- through the grocery store. It was difficult, but I felt safe, with the exception of tackling the stairs getting in and out of the apartment. I should have picked up a prescription afterwards, but it was getting dark and I was too tired. I guess I'll have to do that today since I took my last pill last night. Right now, I wish I had just sucked it up and got it over with while I was out. I decided we are skipping laundry today/this week. I don't feel well and just don't feel like doing it. We'll have a lot to do next week, but I don't care... I feel like I need to rest. |
Rest and more rest.

Just look at it this way Corey will be very happy you gave you both the break from the laundry. So just do it. I know I'm to late. Its probably already been done, but that is good. Have a good resting day. Donna :grouphug::hug: |
