Kay

I'm so sorry, I know how your OCD will get with this.
So I hope you can relax after a while and let it go.

Good luck.

I had to take an extra Klonopin yesterday morning, but that didn't stop me from vacuuming the whole apartment, bleach bombing the whole bathroom, and cleaning around the kitchen floor again.

I also found a small cigarette burn by the slider that Corey and I thought was dirt we tracked in from outside, and when I took a look at the outside of the kitchen appliances, I found that they were filthy, and the inside of the broiler is f'ing disgusting. I will need the vacuum, and God knows what else to clean that, but I left the appliances alone yesterday because I couldn't clean anymore.

There are some other things that I never mentioned to you: grill and 2 propane tanks still on our patio, Dunkin Donuts cups out there, and cigarette butts all over the ground.

Once I had cleaned, I felt I had calmed down enough to contact the office. I thought it was better to make a phone call because I was upset, and that might make my social anxiety flare up. I let the guy who answered the phone know about all of the issues, and he was blown away. He thanked me for being so calm. Someone is coming over today to check things out...

But I had to call again this morning because of something I noticed, but didn't notice... there are no baseboards in the bedrooms! If they're all over the rest of the apartment, they should be in the bedrooms too, right?
I couldn't tell if the guy on the phone thought I was crazy, being a PITA, or what, but he said he'd add it to the list.

I was totally out of it by the time Corey came home yesterday. I almost let Rocky outside because I wasn't paying attention. All of this activity is killing me. I had picked some things up at the store yesterday afternoon. I forgot to buy milk. Corey said he would buy it on his way home today because I needed to stay home and relax...

But I was up this morning cleaning the toilet again, and I started to clean the kitchen appliances, but the fridge and broiler were too much for me.

I just want to cry. I'm overwhelmed. I'm exhausted. I'm in pain. And I know I'm going to make myself continue to clean

I'm going to try to distract myself by starting on our taxes. At least it's a sedentary task

Bobby

If your going to clean it all before they come. You at least need
to take pictures or have Corey do that. So they can see how it
was before you started. This is not acceptable that they left
it this way before you moved in.

Its just so upsetting that you have to do all this.

Kay,

Please take care of yourself.
Take a break on thinking about the cleaning to the degree that you can.

Perhaps focus on two spots that are the most important to you like
the kitchen and one other place.

=-=
If the apartment company does not move quickly, hire your own cleaning service. Think of the cost of a service as a "moving expense."

I'm aware that a cleaning service might not do as good a job at cleaning
as you would do, but their work might make the place feel more
livable for you.

Doing your taxes will help you feel productive without having to do
physical work.

Default baseboards

Kay

I googled baseboards.

Apparently in the 1980s some companies did not put in baseboards
as a cost-saving measure.

Actually we do not know what the builders were up to.

I hope their lack does not weird you out.

I waited all day, but nobody from maintenance ever came

Yesterday I was plugging along doing the taxes, and everything was going fine until I got to a screen on the state section prompting me to claim the amount of my student loans that had been forgiven due to disability because even tho the amount's not taxable by the federal gov't, it's taxable by the state of MA...
PROBLEM: Nobody has sent me any kind of tax form, and I didn't even know that they had been discharged/forgiven yet.

I made a couple of calls. Waited on hold forever. The loan forgiveness people said they were discharged in 2015, and they don't send out forms?! But the girl on the phone said she would email and mail me one?! But I didn't get an email. She gave me another number to call, the student loan people, and the lady on the phone told me to call the first number back and talk to someone who knows what they're doing. Both ladies told me to set up online accounts to view my loan history and activity. The first one was pointless, and I can't view anything meaningful on the other one for another 1-3 days.

I called H&R Block and asked if I have to claim the amount of the discharged loans on this year's return or amend 2105's. She said it depends on the date on the form they send me. There's no f'ing way I can figure out how to go back and amend a return myself. I would have to pay someone to do it.

I think I know what happened tho. I think my loans were discharged in 2015, but sometimes there's a 3 year waiting period afterwards, and that's why this is popping up now. So, the tax form should be for this year. MA would not be asking about it if they didn't get one on their end. I need to call the loan forgiveness people again today...

But I'm f'ing freaking out because MA could tax the amount of the loans that were forgiven up to 35%

So, that S- took me all f'ing day, and was very stressful. I should have just cleaned lol. Last night I got super-stoned, put my feet up on the coffee table, put on the heating pad that wraps around my shoulders, and the regular one on my back, and passed right out.

Yesterday I didn't feel like getting in the shower early, so I figured I would do it after maintenance left. By the time I realized that was a lost cause, I decided I needed a nap more than a shower, so I never got one. I'm not waiting around today. I'm going to do what I want when I want...

I'm really PO'ed that they didn't get over here yesterday. They should be kissing my f'ing a- because of all the s- that's wrong with this place. They don't want me to have to make a trip to the office... my Irish temper trumps my social anxiety.
