I think you will feel better after a shower, just getting in there is my problem. Once I am in there I like the hot water and stay in there until the water starts to cool down then I hurry and finish the shower. I think or tank is old and that is why we don't have that much hot water.

I am going to have to figure out how to put the things on again to
hold on to the side of the shower. I pulled the second one off
the other day. So now I don't have one on either of the shower/baths.

Its just the little things that stick on. So it should be something that
Derrick can help me stick back on.

Ugh, would be much easier if my husband would just put on the handicapped
handle that I wanted him to for me. He doesn't think I need it.

When I gave Rocky his pill this morning, I gave Buddy the new treats. I'm waiting to see if he throws up. I haven't tried using the hairball paste yet. I want to try one thing at a time.

I think I fell asleep around 9pm last night, and didn't wake up until after 9:30 this morning, and I feel terrible. I have a cough now, so I'll start taking Mucinex. I don't think the Zithromax is working to clear up my sinus infection. I've been taking it since Thursday, and take the last pill on Saturday (?). I feel worse, not better.

Yesterday I went to the supermarket to pick a couple of things up before a 2:30pm appointment. I never got around to putting the laundry away even tho I never took a nap. I will have to do that today. I had planned on going to the laundromat to wash the quilt and comforter, but that's not going to happen. Corey needs cigarettes, so I will have to run out and buy those.

Now I have 2 nails that are really f'ed up. I'm supposed to see Judy to have them done tomorrow. If she has to cancel, I'll have to call the nail salon to see if one of the other girls can do them, as much as I hate the idea of that.

Plans for today:
Get in the shower
Go get cigarettes
Put laundry away
Take a nap

Yesterday I gave Buddy the new treats both times I gave Rocky his pills, and he didn't throw up He hasn't thrown up since Sunday morning, which was the last time I gave him the old treats. So, I guess I solved the mystery of why he was getting sick, and saved us all a trip to the vet

I got everything on my list done yesterday. I baked off some hot Italian sausage when I got home from buying cigarettes so it would be ready for me to cut up to make sausage, peppers, and onions with rice when I woke up from my nap. I've been trying to do things like that lately. It makes life a little easier.

I still feel terrible this morning, but my cough is much better than yesterday. I will still have to take the Mucinex DM again tho. I will finish the antibiotics I'm on now, but I'm probably going to end up needing something else because I've been on them 5-6 days now and I'm worse than I was when I started taking them.

I have an appointment to get my poor nails done this morning. I haven't heard from Judy yet this morning, so as far as I know, I'm still going. It will be so nice to see her. I've been so worried about her...
I had ridiculous major surgery, and my recovery was like a cake walk compared to what she's been going through... a plastic surgery nightmare. She's not here to read, but (((HUGS))) to her anyway.

I personally think he just wants to be in denial that I can't be
normal in his thinking. And do everything everyone else does
in his thinking. He sees me fall, he hears my breathing and he
just thinks I can help it. I've told him more than once its not
something I can help. And I've done everything I can to keep
it from happening but he just doesn't see it that way.

He has gotten better lately but I haven't asked again for the
things because I know or am sure i know the answers.

I think I can relate a little.

It's so hard not to have your health problems taken seriously/be believed. I think you're right in that he's probably in denial- because that's the only way he could be in disbelief after everything you've been through

It's terrible that you've had to stop asking for things because you know that he will say no. I think you should try to keep asking tho because that's the only way you're going to get his help. And sometimes you need his help

Is there any way you could get him to go to the doctor's with you? I have tried to get Corey to go to the doctor's with me. I think that maybe they would change their tune if they heard about our medical problems from our doctors

I hope that Dale snaps out of denial soon and gives you the help that you need
