I'm such an idiot!!! I got all worked up for ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!

I did some googling, and found out that the question about discharged/forgiven loans is being asked because starting this tax year, they are no longer taxable by the federal government, but they are still taxable by the state of MA, so it is a general question so the state can make sure it can get all the money they can. It had nothing to do with ME.

As for my tax forms, I had an epiphany last night... the loan people said they sent out those tax forms in 2012 and 2013. So, they were probably for tax years 2011 and 2012, and that's why there was nothing on my 2013 return. They were. I paid taxes in 2011 and 2012. I checked everywhere, and I paid federal and state taxes on ALL of my loans, so I don't have to worry about this bull s- anymore!!!

Now I can just finish up this year's taxes using the very easy H&R Block software, and we can get our modest refunds

I went grocery shopping yesterday, and the cashier happened to mention something about St. Patrick's Day being on Sunday. I had no idea. I paid for my groceries and had to go back and buy corned beef and all the trimmings.

I've been in my own little world cleaning, making phone calls, and sticking my nose in my filing cabinet, so I'm in a time warp. I don't even know what month it is. St. Patrick's Day is usually a BIG deal for me, and I pre-order my corned beef from the butcher shop. At least she reminded me, and I didn't have to take another trip to the store later.

I made a list of our expenses last night (I had Corey check it over), and we can afford a new car as long as the monthly payment is within the range I'm comfortable with. I don't want to feel squeezed. The plan last night was to go to the dealership today. They're having a huge blow out, and are supposed to be giving cars away... we'll see if they actually are.
Corey said he wants to go early, but he's still in bed. He got super-drunk last night.

I just got the schedule of future payments from my insurance company, and they have only gone up by $18!
It must be because of all of the safety features on the car... I was expecting a really hard hit, so I will take it!!!

Great news about your car insurance only going up $18 that is great!!!
I think we have finally paid off my car and now this air conditioning problem.

I'm sorry about your AC, Bizi. That really s's. I remember that you have had it worked on before, and it was expensive. It's nice to have a car you own outright, but if you have to keep pumping money into it, it may be time for a new one (especially if it still has a high trade-in value)? How much do they want from you now?

I woke up before 6am yesterday. I'm glad that Corey decided we wren't doing laundry because I was exhausted and didn't feel well. I needed a nap early, and it ended up being a 6 hour one! I guess I need a lot of sleep lately. I have definitely come down from my manic episode. Maybe that's why.
I didn't take a shower yesterday. I didn't even brush my teeth... not like me.

I woke up kinda early this morning, so I hope I can hang in there for the birthday party later today. I'm looking forward to seeing some people I haven't seen in a long time, including the birthday boy's wife, who's a living doll. One of Corey's friends, who's a sober alcoholic like me, is hitching a ride with us. So, he can drive back if I'm too tired. It's nice to have another non-drinker there, too.

I still haven't decided what I'm wearing for a top. I have a lot of time to decide, but will have to choose something before I break out the iron for my pants.
I also need to go to CVS to buy a birthday card, and will buy a heating pad while I'm there.

I just went outside to smoke a cigarette and I saw 3 Blue Jays in the woods. They were such a bright colored blue! They were absolutely beautiful!

I forgot to tell you that Corey saw a Cardinal the other day, and took a picture of it. I saw it in person myself yesterday... so pretty!

I guess there are a lot of people who may not want an apartment that faces the woods, but we are definitely enjoying our view, and I think it will get even better once Spring comes

It was 63 degrees out yesterday, and it will be in the low 60's again today, but it's supposed to rain in the afternoon. We have been getting some mild temps here and there lately, but it will be in the low 40's tomorrow.
I can see some bright green patches of grass (?) in the woods already. I think Spring is finally coming

Rocky has become my new BFF since I started giving him his pills. I give them to him in Greenie's pill pockets, and they must taste great, because he gets very excited when it's time to take them. He's been all over me this morning. I love it

I Skyped with my friend for about 2 hours yesterday. Corey came home as our session was drawing to a close. She has never met him, but I had him come into the office so she could. I haven't heard from her since, but I'm sure she'll tell me how handsome he is

I was ready for a nap vs. going grocery shopping, but I was afraid I would sleep too long, and end up having to go to the store really late. So, I dragged myself through it and never got my nap. I was really, really tired, and my legs were really, really hurting, so I was f'ing grouchy afterwards.

We have to do laundry today. Never look forward to doing that. We have a lot because we skipped a week AGAIN. I slept for 6 hours instead, but we can't keep doing that. Corey will want to drive. He's only been able to drive it twice.

He's still asleep. I don't know yet when I'll wake him up. He will expect me to make him breakfast, but he was an a/h last night, so he can have cereal or throw some waffles in the toaster. I will NOT reward bad behavior.
