Corey was being ridiculous on Sunday. I had finally had it with his temper, and without saying a word, I got up and moved into the bedroom to watch the rest of the Pat's game. I don't need that s-. I waited for about an hour and a half, and came out and asked him if he had gotten it out of his system, and he said he had, so I came back out into the living room, and he was much calmer.

In my family, we only buy gifts for the kids, but Corey's family expects presents... in my opinion too much of them. I did a lot yesterday, and finished all my shopping with the exception of buying 2 bottles of liquor, which I can pick up later in the week. No big deal. The candles are supposed to arrive today. I have a 1pm appointment. I would like to be here when they come, but FedEx will usually just leave packages here if nobody's home. I'm still waiting for my MIL's gift card to come in the mail. I'll feel much better when that arrives.

I will go to Corey's mother's house for "Christmas." She should reschedule it to accommodate his sister. Maybe she will. IDK. Corey's mother and step father are self-centered morons, who would not understand it if I did not show up- surgery or not. I will leave if I have to (for any reason), and come back to pick Corey up later.

I've still been having problems with the D at night, but actually still being constipated. Last night I decided we would have Chinese food, and waited to take the Imodium to see if I could get things going. I went to the BR quite a bit. Still D but NO liquid. I finally took the Imodium at 9pm, and stopped going shortly after 10, which is MUCH better than the night I was up dealing with it until 1:30am. I feel better than I did yesterday. I think I will try the same thing tonight (minus the Chinese food) so I can hopefully feel even better.

I saw my pdoc yesterday. She's f'ing amazed at how well I'm doing physically and psychologically. It seems like she's waiting for me to break under all the stress, but we made an appointment for 4 weeks out with the understanding that I would contact her, or come in, earlier if I need to.

I see the NP in my PCP's office at 1pm today. I think the appointment is pointless. I don't think they can do anything for me, but I have to go.

What a great post! I am happy that your pdoc is happy with you for being pretty darn stable!

This morning I weighed 133.2lbs, which is about 2 pounds heavier than I have been weighing in at since I've been weighing myself since leaving the hospital. But I had Chinese food 2 days in a row, so it's probably water weight. I'm still happy I put a couple of pounds on tho.

The trip to see the NP turned out NOT to be a waste of time. I have acne that is from a hypersensitivity reaction to something, probably a med... my guess is it's from the bright blue dye in the last Klonopin pills I got from the pharmacy. It happened with lithium, and looks exactly the same as when that started, but hasn't gotten as bad. She prescribed me two meds to take care of it, one for day and one for night, but still wants me to see the dermatologist.
The rest of the appointment revolved around me updating her on the surgery, my recovery, and lots of poop talk. She said my incisions looked fantastic. She had me get some blood drawn. I should be ale to see the results tomorrow morning. I'm curious about how my kidneys are functioning.

I took the 2nd Imodium later again yesterday, and went to the BR a lot. I'm no longer constipated, and feel MUCH more comfortable today. So, as long as I'm not going anywhere, that is what I will be doing from now on. I'm going to try adding the extra FiberCon tonight to see if it helps. I just hope it doesn't make matters worse.

My MIL's gift certificate came in the mail yesterday, and I went to the liquor store, so my shopping is all done!!! Wrapping should be easy since most things will be going in bags. I feel badly that I only sent my nephews gift certificates this year, but I'm not really up to being creative.

I have an appointment with my neurologist at 11:45 this morning. I may go buy more MJ afterwards since I'll be close by. IDK. I want to get some cleaning done today... at least the BR.

I have to get my a- into the shower now so I won't be late for my appointment.

132.4lbs this morning. I guess it could be worse.

I got Lamictal from a different manufacturer the last time I filled my script. They are blue, and as oddly shaped as the other ones, but slightly different. They aren't as heavily dyed as the Klonopin I got are tho.

I saw my neurologist yesterday. He's such a good doctor. I will be resuming my Tysabri treatments as soon as they get the prior authorization through. I asked him why my spasticity wasn't as bad while I was in the hospital, and for the first few days I was home, and he said that opiates can control that, but obviously most doctors don't prescribe them for spasticity and use other meds instead. He doesn't prescribe them, and I'm happy with my MJ, thank you very much. But that's one mystery solved.

I decided to buy a couple of little things for my nephews. Reindeer Pez dispensers and cute M&M tubes with light-up Christmas tree toppers that play music. I wrapped those up and shipped them out yesterday. At least they will have something from us to unwrap.
That's one of many things I did. I didn't get any cleaning done. I was out all day between going to my neuro appointment, the dispensary, CVS, back home to wrap the gifts, then to the post office, and I got gas. I think that's it? IDK. The whole day is a blur.

Corey had me text his sister to let her know we would not be leaving her gifts at his mum's house, and to ask her if we could meet up sometime Christmas Day or Eve. She expected us to make another trip over to their mother's house, and Corey said that was out of the question. I hope I made that clear enough to her- politely. She better not leave any gifts for us over there because they will rot. We have no plans to go over there anytime in the near future.
Corey's's over the whole thing, is pretty PO'ed, and doesn't want to go over there at all. I think I have already made it clear how I feel about the whole situation.

I'm pretty close with Corey's father. I get stuck in the middle when he wants to see Corey and his sister, and they don't want to see him, when he comes up from Florida tho. I talk to him and pay more attention to him than his kids do. He sent Corey a card with a gift card, but didn't send me a card at all this year. It makes me very sad

maybe he felt he didn't need to send you a card because he feels close to you

I had LOTS of D starting at about 3:30 yesterday afternoon, and it went on for hours. Usually I only get it in the evening or at night. It increases my concerns about going over to my MIL's on Sunday.
I forgot to add the extra dose of FiberCon into my pill case Wednesday night, but I took it last night. I don't know what it will do. So far nothing. I hope it doesn't make matters worse, or make me go to the BR during the day again/more

The only thing I got around to cleaning yesterday was the BR. So far nothing today. I'm great at procrastinating lately. I'm overwhelmed by how much there is to do. I have decided where I am going to start tho, so that is something that is going to work in my favor. I have to settle for the fact that I can only do what I can do.

Tomorrow will be a busy day starting with an early trip to the grocery store... UGH. LOTS of other things to do, too.

I did A LOT of cleaning yesterday. I'm satisfied with how much I got done. I couldn't ask anymore of myself.

I also got some wrapping done last night. Just the stuff that needed to be wrapped in wrapping paper. Not a lot. I didn't have to fight with the cats too much, which was a really nice change. I still have bags to fill, but I can do that tonight. I remember thinking that putting s- in bags is easy to do, but realizing it really isn't tho.

I have to go grocery shopping, but it won't be the early trip I had hoped for. I was up late last night/early this morning, so there's no way I was waking up early. I will have to deal with a crowd, but I'll have to suck it up cuz I have to get the shopping done today.

I just wish it didn't start at 3am. And I wish I didn't have to work so hard for it.
I think it's because I added the second dose of FiberCon at night. That's all it could be. I'm just really, really, really happy!!!
I didn't take any Imodium all day either, and had no issues. But I also didn't have to go out. I took it this morning because I have to go to the grocery store.
I will be taking the Imodium twice tomorrow when I go over to my MIL's because I don't want any surprises.
