Question Mirtazapine, sold under the brand name Remeron

I see pdoc Monday afternoon / today.

Does anyone have any experience with Remeron?

. . .an atypical antidepressant that I do not remember trying in the past?

(I gave up thoughts of the tricyclic antidepressants.)

I don't think it is one I have tried before, so I hope someone with a history of taking it chimes in soon.

I read that patients who have a history of heart attack or stroke shouldn't take it, but I don't know how well pdocs heed that warning And one of the s/e is lucid dreaming.

Are you still considering a Tricyclic as a possibility?

Mari, my mother in law took this many years ago. And I know no
bad effects she ever had. She seemed to have liked it.
