Sending you some good weather, Donna, so you get things done.

Stay safe.

I'm glad that you are enjoying sleeping in, and are taking care of yourself by not going out when the weather is bad :)

What do you like to do with your "inside time"?

Dmom3005 02-12-2019 11:59 AM

I just cancelled my doctor appointment for tomorrow. Because
its supposed to get 20 to 45 mile an hour winds this afternoon,
plus snow this afternoon early. Well it started early or so I was
thinking its been snowing since about 11:30 or so. Wow, not
what I wanted to see.

All the county schools out my way and most if not all my rural counties
are out today for what we call an e-learning day. SO all the kids
are home. Probably either a 2 hour delay or closed again tomorrow.

This has been a no fun type winter for sure. I'm ready to be able to get
out. The way this weather is going I'm going to have to ask Dale
to get Derrick some money this week. Because I'm not going to be
able to get to town to give him any. Ugh, no fun either.
But life out here.

Maybe next week I can do something.

I like to read when I have books. But that is about all I do.

And watch tv now that I have Roku.

I'm sorry you have had such a tough winter :hug::hug:
I would be stuck at home a lot, too.

I thought New England was bad... we've had a lot of cold temps and wind, but we haven't gotten much snow this year (knock on wood).

I hope the weather improves soon so you can get out of the house and don't go stir crazy :hug::hug:

Dmom3005 02-13-2019 03:07 PM

I got out today to the bank, dollar general and that was it about 10 or
15 minutes.

So I at least got some things done.

We will see what the rest of the week brings.

I hope it brings you good weather!!! :)

Dmom3005 02-14-2019 10:30 AM

Me too, I think its going to bring more snow in the end.

But that is life right. I am sure hoping that groundhog
was right and we see spring soon. But I'm not holding
out hope anytime soon. Heehee,

But I'm hoping to go to a case conference tomorrow we
will see, its to be cloudy which usually means foggy.

be careful on the roads, fog can be dangerous!

Yes, Bizi

Luckily it wasn't foggy this morning. And I felt a lot better.

I had a good morning and my parent/ student got a great report.
THis is one of the ones I love going to. Because this is one
of the ones that he is having to get good days to get out of this
classroom, into a regular classroom. And its taken him a lot
of work to show he can do this. He is just about all the way
out. I'm not sure he will ever be able to do Reading or language
arts, same thing in regular classroom completely but that is okay.

Just getting all the other classes and lunch, recess, and specials all
out is great. He is just about out in lunch with his classmates now.
THey wanted to know today if we thought lunch all the time was good
idea. I could tell mom wasn't sure. So I suggested that since they
have one day right now. They add another or two. ANd then at
the beginning of April after spring break either add both more or
try one more and then the other. So he can see if its too much
one day at a time.

Mom seemed relieved for the thought.
