I really hope that Susan is more receptive to you now that she knows that you are going to stop drinking. Maybe she could be very supportive as well

I'm glad that you are enjoying going to the Unitarian Fellowship. Is there a pastor there that you can speak to about your drinking? Is that something you would be interested in doing?

I fell on a curb before my dentist appointment this morning. my left side is banged up but not bruising so that is good. It hurts to breath in deeply. and any core muscles getting up and down hurts.

I canceled my last appointment because it bothered me too much for my last 2 appointments. I have billing to do, am behind on that.
I put some magnesium lotion on it. I have some CBD cream I can put on later. I think my underwire bra contributed to the hurting.

Stupid me forgot to take some advil today I just took 800mg.
The pain has spread to my sternum.
I wonder if I did crack a rib?

Even if I went into the walk in clinic there is no treatment for it right?

I am much better today. Advil helps a lot!
The magnesium lotion did not seem to help nor did the CBD cream.
A moist heated bean neck pillow last night felt good.
This evening I can deep breath with out much pain so that is vast improvement from yesterday!
I canceled my last client for today and put her onto next week. I did not feel up to it and wanted to do some meat shopping.
For less than $50 I bought 30 entrees (15x2 meals), chicken, pork chops, sausage, chicken patties, meatloaf and shrimp that we

had tonight for dinner. I cooked using a brown roux for the base

and added chicken broth and garlic and onions, and celery and yellow squash and chives and tomatoes. Cooked all of that down then added the shrimp and let it cook for a few minutes. I had used some spices but it wasn't too hot.Jeff said he thought it was good...don't know what that means.
WE had some left overs I combined them with the left over brussel sprouts. I bet they will be tasty.
The roux was not flavorful because I added too much water. At first it was so think that I had to add water to thin it but I added too much water.
So it was thin. Oh well. I learned something.

I worked 3 hours straight and finished my billing.

So relieved about that.
I still have some filing and notating but that can wait. Have to bill if I want to get paid!

I'm so sorry that you fell and were in so much pain!
I'm glad that the Advil is helping and you are feeling better now... it really did sound like you cracked a rib. If the pain comes back, or you have any problems breathing, please go get an x-ray

I know how much you hate doing that stuff, and 3 hours is a long time to hunker down and have to do anything!

That's a good price for all that meat. Will you be freezing any of it? It sounds like you will be cooking up a storm!

I make roux's all the time. I always do it in a separate pan in case I f- up so I can fix it because I never measure anything. They usually turn out fine, but there have been times when I end up having a ton of sauce because I have had to correct it so much, and too much sauce can ruin a dish.

We froze most the meat.
I am not a good cook, I bought some chili from sandras today and added beans and some roasted corn. I spiced mine up a bit after using sour cream and it was very good!
I also sauteed a pound of fresh mushrooms in butter and cooked them completely down, we had those for dinner as well.
Did a bit of sewing...our cat hazel kneeded my sweater and put small holes in it. so I sewed them up. I think that it came out pretty good.


Today, both my parents and my sister had problems with their heating units. Mom and dad have a big boiler for their baseboard heat. They live almost into michigan. They finally figured out what was wrong after talking with the installer tonight so the heat is back on. IT had gotten to be 51 degrees in the house. very nerve wracking because the temp is heading down to minus 23 degrees F. My sisters furnace finally kicked on too. They don't know why. My whole family lives in Indiana, so does my mother in law.
Hubby talked to her earlier.
Her house is warm.

She lives in INDY so it is not as cold there...still cold for sure.
So happy the heat is on for everyone!
