Maybe you can get a second filing cabinet? And use one for the old charts, and one for the new ones? Do you have the space to do that?

Jeff was at a basketball game and had an acute onset of weakness where he could not stand up the 2 guys had to help him down. He had had some chicken there and maybe it was bad. He threw up some too. came home and they helped him to the futon in the family room and he stayed there. Around 930pm He could barely talk he was so weak. I took his vital signs and they were normal. He stayed there until 4am and came to bed I went to bed at 2am. I Just got up and he was outside feeling shaken up drank a gatoraide he told me this morning. He got up a half hour ago. He is much better.
His dad developed some weird muscular condition later in life. That was very scary. bizi

His sickness lasted about 12 hours is all. Hubby said he was about 90% back to normal....weird! He said thanks for asking.

hello
 Just a quick update. I have been busy getting doctors orders on my clients....some are reluctant to give me orders....why this must be so hard????? I have been creating charts on my clients so that is good. I am starting over with all new charts one way to thin my filing cabinet., emptied it and started anew. I have a gal helping me to do this. I have about 30 new charts already. I have about 150 clients total, so this is a start. I don't know when my lawyer will get back in touch with me, just awaiting his email with suggested rewrites of my statement for the board of nursings claim against my license. sigh not fun for sure. sigh Getting new orders and charting has been a great distraction on my part. I am not sure what will become of my practice as I may lose my license after it is all said and done and pay a fine as well. Thousands of dollars. sigh am trying to be brave and just take it a day at a time. My clients all wonder why I am having to get doctors orders etc. when I have not gotten them before.... sigh  bizi

I'm so sorry to hear about what happened to Jeff!
I remember he is reluctant to go to doctors, and since he feels better, he will be less inclined to go, but he should still be seen, especially with his family hx I wish you didn't have to jump through all these hoops, Bizi I don't understand the reluctance of some of these doctors to give you the orders. I assume most of your clients are home-bound... how are they supposed to get to podiatrists? Foot care is so important for elderly patients... I hope that you hear from your lawyer soon, so you don't have to wait and worry I'm pulling for you through all of this. I hope that things go your way, and you don't lose your license (((HUGS))) |

I just think you might can tell your clients/ patients that its something your hearing is going to start being required soon. So you decided to start being proactive now so you can get a jump start on it. And so that everyone isn't requesting it of the doctor's at the same time your making the request now. That way your ahead of the crowd. Donna
