Got on the scale this morning and scared myself.

I'm so glad that you had such a good time yesterday, and you didn't drink too much
 Today is a fresh start for you. That number on the scale is temporary. Pay no mind to it! I wish you the best of luck staying AF and dieting during lent! You can do it!!!

After discussing the events yesterday with jeff last night...I discovered that I did have too much to drink.
I had a black out( a period of time that I don't remember). sigh bizi I will use haltob to help stave off drinking. hungry angry lonely tired overwhelmed bored. Those are my triggers especially overwhelmed or bored. Hugs for the group. (((((((hugs)))))) bizi

The scale came back down to 185.
So I feel much better about that. bizi

Are you experiencing any or all of those triggers right now, Bizi?
I'm glad that you can identify them. A lot of people can't. Maybe knowing what they are can/will help you. Maybe if you start to experience some of them, you could find a distraction Have you tried putting an elastic band on your wrist to snap when you are having strong cravings? Just an idea. I'm so glad that you're weighing in 5lbs lower today

Thanks ladies!
Fantastic news today from hubby! He won the distinguished professor of the year for the whole school. I am very Proud of him. There is a $5,000 prize for the honor. The ceremony/dinner will be in April and he has to give a speech. He is usually playing music for the dinner. Now he will be the featured honorary.  Only 2 people in the whole university won this distinction. We went to texas road house to celebrate. I texted my family about it, Hubby is talking to his mom right now. Very excellent day! bizi yes many peanuts on the floor and we ended up eating at the bar because I had a coughing fit and jeff was not bringing me back the water fast enough. I am trying to follow a low carb diet. and trying to cut back on portion sizes. I forgo the rolls and even had mixed veggies instead of the baked sweet potato. So I had the texas road kill. a 10oz steak burger smothered with cheese and mushrooms and onions. It was delicious and I only ate half....will have the rest this weekend sometime.I have to lose this weight, I just have to. day 2 of af.....hard! bizi
