Around here, some car washes have detail services. Also a lot of car dealerships do it. I would start by calling your dealership to ask them.

I looked at my yo yo weight gain and loss over the past 3 1/2 months...
My highs have always been surrounding drinking periods.

12-16-18= 170.8 Before christmas break
1-7-19= 187.8 After christmas break
2-23-19= 179.6 before mardi gras...2 weeks of partying
3-6-19= 190.8 after fat tuesday(mardi gras)
3-28-19= 178.5 3 weeks alcohol free for lent.
that is 12.3 ponds lost in 3 weeks.( I had gained 20 pounds in 3 months!)
Even with the weight lost, I am still up 8 pounds since before christmas break.

A year ago I weighed 175.
Even though that is only a 3.5 weight gain for the year...
I look so much heavier. I have a beer gut when I did not have one before.
And I know this will be the hardest area to lose weight!

Even so, being that heavy, I know that some of that was the bloat
from drinking so heavily so I really was not 190.8
but it was a real eye opener to see that number.
I had not been that heavy in 18 years!
The bottom line is that I lose weight by not drinking.
I make better food choices and am able to do an
Intermittant fasting diet by not eating nor drinking past dinner.
Not drinking is the answer to weight loss for me.


on an unrelated note:
Heard that my insurance company were not going to reimburse any of my claim from the rock taking out my sensor/air conditioning. They charged me $1080...they said it was a $500 job so the dealer ship way over charged me. They might cover my rental car for $100. We will see.

Repairs at the dealership are always more expensive, but you know you are getting their factory parts. I usually use my trusted mechanic. I get new parts made by another brand which are cheaper, and the labor is cheaper, but I know my car will be fixed right.

Dis your insurance tell you you had to go to the dealership, or was it your preference?

The insurance involvement was after the fact.
I never thought it would have been a car insurance issue. honda told me to try after it was already fixed. So I am trying.

I hope you can get at least a partial reimbursement

They said the appraisal was less than the

$500 deductible but they more than likely do
not use honda parts for their estimate is what
the manager at honda told me.

I will try to at least get my rental car $returned.


Ate quite a bit of cheese at whole foods ate a

big salad with ceasar dressing added some

parmesan cheese. It had greens, cucumbers,
rainbow carrots, red onions which I cut into

small pieces and cherry tomatoes.
Then my new friend Erin, let me have some of

her cheese tray. It had 2 different types of

cheeses, sweetie drops little tiny bright red

peppers and chocolate drops and very thin

crackers. I ate too many crackers.

It was delicious but fattening.



I stuck to my 8 hour window so that was good.
I drank 42 ounces of water while I was there.

Just now had 2 glasses of water with my night meds.


Getting ready to hit the hay. Going to work in the yard

tomorrow if the weather cooperates.

The trees have dropped a lt of leaves that need
to be raked up and the pollen is in full bloom

so that needs to be raked up as well.

When and where did you meet your new friend Erin? It's great that you have a new friend (who will share her cheese)!

I hope the weather cooperates and you can get some yard work done. That will be a lot of exercise!

I swept off our patio the other day. There were tons of cigarette butts out there from the previous tenant, and things had finally dried out enough to do it. I feel much better, and so does Corey.

I met erin a couple of years ago at a christmas party.
About a month ago I gave her my business card with my cell phone number on it and she gave me hers, and asked if she wanted to get together some time.
So monday she texted to see if I was going to trivia on friday, and I said yes.
She is a teacher at an elementary school, teaches math(I think).
Jeff had a gig so he was not at trivia.
Erin stated that she wanted to go to the big bang percussion concert tonight and could not find anyone to go and I said that I had wanted to go too. So we are meeting up tonight at 7 or so, it starts at 7:30.
(Jeff has another gig and he will be gone from 6:15 to home around 10;30)
long gig for little money. It is the big band 20 piece band, think 40's music. they all wear tuxes and people dance waltz and ball room, elderly crowd and some youngsters who dance swing. I have been 3-4 times before and they play pretty much the same music and I don't like going alone.
So I am glad Erin mentioned it to me. She is in her late 30's. no children, her husband is a pastry chef at a wonderful bakery in town.
They live not too far from us.
No one asked me why I was just drinking water. Maybe they knew that I gave up alcohol for lent????
Trivia was fun. There were 5 of us on the team....My fellow team members are quite competitive. You are only allowed 4 members per team and I always say that I am not playing because I am so terrible at trivia.
Occasionally I will verbalize an answer but usually it is wrong like last night. I thought it was a typhoon that did all of the damage to africa this past week. IT was a cyclone.

any way I need to get dressed, finished my 3rd cup of coffee.


My poor nose is a disaster area. My rosacea is really creating havoc, so many pimples and sores...I can't keep from messing with them...need to leave them alone. The concealer that I use is from 10 years ago and I think is contributing to the problem. So I ordered from amazon some new concealer the same brand so that was lucky. Golden honey.It should be here next week.
