I called Carolyn and asked her if she wanted to go to dinner on friday night. And she said yes. ( I have to find other activities to do that don't include drinking). She is a licensed florist and just got a job at the fresh market working 3 days a week.

I thought about it then I called her back and asked her if she would like to go to planet fitness with me(I have the up graded membership to bring a friend for free).
We could walk on the tred mill and then go grab a quick dinner somewhere. She said yes.
Something to do on a friday night....not trivia in their bar!

Time will tell.
She likes to talk alot, I am a good listener.
But I hope she lets me talk too.
I took care of her Dads feet. He past away a year ago. She is taking it hard. She just recently lost a really good friend of hers. He had cancer.

I hope that you have a great time with C[B][U][U]arolyn on Friday, and you start to become good friends. I am a talker, too. Sometimes people talk more when they're anxious. Maybe once she gets to know you better, she will talk less, and give you more of an opportunity to share things. If not, you will have to interject, and maybe she will start to get the hint.

I think when I go to AA this wednesday I am going to ask for a sponsor.
Another person to ask for support. I will only have a female sponsor me though.

Am taking a much needed shower this morning and washing my hair.
Got up at 7am and have checked into the forums, now here.
Weighed 183.1 this morning. I have been snacking after dinner.
We went to Jason's deli for dinner last night.
I had this breakfast sandwich called a sammy.
egg/cheese/ham/mayo toasted on a small bread like thing flat and smooth and round.
I put a spicy olive pepper mixture on the sandwich and it was delicious!
ate 1 small ginger bread muffin and a small ice cream cone. No wonder I am not losing weight.
I need to be more disciplined.
Jeff and I are watching LOST again for the umpteen time. love it!
I have been drinking hot tea at night while watching and I microwave a bean like pillow for my back ache which seems to be better. Thank goodness as my requires alot of kneeling and getting up and down, bending over etc.
Today makes 10 days AF(this time around).
Tonight is AA. I will ask for a sponsor.
I will print out the Women for sobriety statements and go over them with her once I meet up with her. I will ask for a female, hopefully there will be one.
The place was packed over 100 people there, surly there will be a female sponsor available.
It meets at 8pm.
Onto my 3rd cup of coffee....need to hop into the shower!
Hate getting in there, but then I like the hot water until it runs out. So frustrating.
