I'm sure that you have already thought of calling the vet about the dose of Hattie's antihistamine, Bizi. It sounds like too much to me, too, but they may want her to continue to take it like that even tho it is making her so sleepy because they think she needs it. IDK. Poor thing

As far as the 5 IPA's- no judgement here either. When I would binge, I would drink more around 15 beers, if that makes you feel any better?

You made a promise to yourself that you wouldn't drink from lent until Easter, and you kept that promise. You didn't drink for 6 weeks (?), and that is great. You should be proud of that

I'm sorry that you are feeling remorseful now that you did drink on Easter. A lot of the self-abuse I'm sure you're doing now is part of being an alcoholic. It was one day, and there's nothing you can do about it now, so please try to forgive yourself (((HUGS)))

Jeff's award ceremony is this weekend, right?

The awards banquet is this thursday. and brian his brother is flying in for it.
I will pick him up at the airport at 1125 am. then take him to lunch at a restaurant called prejeans.
it is a cajun restaurant. and should be good food.
has a good reputation. and is rustic like cajun style. then go to the culture center for the history and such museum.

never called the vet just decreased the dose on our own.
Come to find out that brian has been here before. Back in 2002 he and his parents drove to see us.They took a trip to new orleans he has not done the things that I have planned for us. So that is good.

I think she(hattie) is worse. I have not seen her eat nor drink. She goes in to get her stitches removed tomorrow so she will be able to get the thunder shirt off so that is good. She doesn't like it.

She is still sneezing quite a bit. Poor girl.



I went to the chiropractors office yesterday. my back is painful on the right side. He adjusted my whole body and it felt good once he was done. But now my back is worse. It hurts when ever I move, especially when I lift my right leg.

I have an SI joint inflammation (sacral illiac). It is a repetitive stress injury from work. Last night, I used an ice pack then used the hot moist pillow that I had that jeff got for me. IT is for your neck but I use it on my back. You heat it up in the microwave and it magically creates moist heat.

I had a hard time getting to sleep and woke up often trying to get comfortable. Finally just got out of bed at 8;30. need to get going.
I think I will have to break down and take advil. with food.
he said 800mg. So I will take that now.



Brians flight is delayed due to weather. He is stuck in houston, has been texting me updates. Don't know when he will take off. He was due in at 11:30 but now...don't know at this point. I think he got up very early this morning. He will be hungry when he finally gets here, so far 45 minute delay he just let me know.

The banquet was great!
so proud of jeff.
great to see his brother.
we ate lunch at prejeans and had fried alligator,cup of corn and crab bisque soup which was more like corn chowder no liquid. very tasty.
split an order of crawfish enchiladas which was very good.
then on to the cultural museum the movie was on the hour and was very long and depressing. It put brian to sleep he had hardly any sleep....he is in the shower now getting ready for bed. He has a habit of staying up late on his phone. Jeff has to get up early to teach an 8am lesson.
We need to leave the house at 9am for the swamp tour.
hopefully get a better nights sleep. It was hard sleeping with my back pain last night.(SI joint pain)

I'm glad that you had such a nice time at lunch with his brother eating alligator ()! And all the food you had was so good!

I'm sorry that the chiropractor's visit wasn't more helpful in the long-run, and you are still in so much pain (((HUGS)))
Did he give you any exercises to do? Do you think that more visits would be helpful?

I hope you are having a great time with your BIL this weekend, and any walking you are doing is not bothering your back
