I have not had any heartburn since 2 days ago, I was up all night with heart burn friday night, felt like I was going to throw up.
I restarted the zyprexa last night and slept pretty good last night.
Klonipin taper is almost done.
Wonder if my sleep was off still due to that?
I am down to .125mg for the next 3 days then done.
I was fooling myself thinking that the zyprexa was contributing to the weight gain.
But the truth of the matter is that my drinking was always contributing to my weight gain. And has been the reason for my 50 pound weight gain over the past 4 years. I am really thinking I am done drinking.....time will tell of course....see how determined that I am. We leave on vacation in one week. WE will be gone for 2 weeks.

I was able to go to the gym tonight and walked a 5k=3.1 miles in about an hour. I was holding on for dear life but still more movement is better than none.
Came home and watched an episode of downton abby.
Now getting ready for bed I have an earlier appointment at 9 so I need to set the alarm for 7:30am and get up, no snoozing either.
I read that I should not be using soap on my face so will throw out the bar that I have been using and go back to my benzol peroxide cleanser that I used to use, my face is still really red and the bumps are fewer already.
I am taking doxycyclin antibiotic. and 2 facial creams. The antibiotic can't be taken with calcium so am taking that at night now.
I have an arsenal of products that I am using, it took a whole bag to carry them when we went to TX.
I need to fill my pill boxes for the 2 weeks but don't have enough to do that...the refills won't come due until the 28th so will have to wait until then before I can fill the boxes. That always takes a while.
I told my sister how hard it was for me to leave for 2 weeks...not sure she believes me.

Started not drinking on the 22nd saturday.
Took my meds as prescribed. Still not sleeping well.
I am getting off a tranquilizer that I took for sleep. Maybe that is why I am having a hard time sleeping....hoping that I am not getting ready to have an episode since we leave in a week.

Great job Bizi! You are ready for this and before you know it, the desire to drink will slowly fade. Especially when you start feeling better and drop that weight. I love to eat so carry extra weight around my gut also. You willl eventually start sleeping better also. So much to look forward to. The vaca will be challenging but you will feel so much better.

I hope you don't have an episode. Watch for symptoms and call MD if needed, to prevent this if possible.
I also titrated off of clonopin. sleep was poor during this period.

yes donna, we are going to indy and south bend.
firstly we are staying 2 nights in memphis this time.
Jeff wants to see the civil rights museum and I want to see Elvis's Graceland
then will have dinner at the bass pro store...It is a huge pyramid and they have 4 restaurants there and it is huge. I heard that one of the other stores is a resort!

Started over day one 6-22-19 Alcohol free here on out known as AF.
also started reducing the food that I eat. portion control.
For lunch:
ate 6 oz of lamb today with 1/2 cup of squash,smothered cabbage and chard.
was so hungry on the way home from work that I snacked on some pretzels in the car coming home. approximately 3/4 cup.
For dinner:
Hubby made dinner: had a can of tuna with mayo and egg stuffed into a huge tomato.
It was very good. 2 small dark chocolate squares for deserrt.
I am also trying to follow intermittant fasting.skipping breakfast and eating in an 8 hour window of time.

I'm glad that you started taking the Zyprexa again. I think between that, and not drinking, that is why you are sleeping better. I'm so glad that you finally slept!

I know that you are on a small dose, but I think that you are less likely to have an episode while on vacation since you are taking it again

I'm going to miss you when you go away! 2 weeks is a long time!!!
But since you are going to enjoy yourself, I guess I can spare you

Congratulations on being AF since the 22nd! And it sounds like you are doing a great job watching what you eat, and got a good workout on the treadmill

I'm still on Protonix and still get acid reflux because my GI issues from the MS aren't isolated to my intestines. I have problems with my whole GI tract, including swallowing problems.
