Sorry, I meant to come back and explain when Bobby said something.
I got lost in something else.

But he worked at a battery factory. And they checked their lead a lot.
His was always after the beginning very high. He worked there for over 10 years. My other son Devin even worked there for a few years. I'll explain why he left later.

But Dan couldn't control even though he tried many things the lead. So after years they made him wear a suit from head to toes. That was specially made for him whenever he worked. They all took showers before they went to work or left the factory every day. But this didn't seem to matter for him

He developed ulceratitus colitius or however it was spelled there. And it was bad, it put him in the hospital. He was diagnosed and started treatment through that. He then went through almost every pill they could. He was getting ready to start an IV. When we were having trouble finding a new doctor to do that. And he then went off is other meds for his bipolar things.
But worked all the time. Got sicker and then it was crohns, or close.

But anyway, after a while he got with Kortni, and she talked him into leaving the factory when he was at I believe 125 lbs or less even. And he ate all the time. Everything. But he really doesn't like sweets. But even that.

Anyway, after a while he went on disability, but till then I helped get him back on seroquel and depakote, because we got him to go back to his doctor.
But he had problems and didn't take it like he was supposed to.

Anyway he started getting lots better put on some weight after being away from the factory. So he gained about 40lbs. I believe he may weight a little more now. Not sure. We finally got him to realize the need for meds. After he got in trouble with the law, and he was admitted as you know.
And stuff. But that is the mess in the nutshell.

My other son developed his severe migraines there. And was given the option of leaving and getting unemployment, or being fired and not.
He took the leaving. ANd the headaches left too. With in a year.

His was a combination of stress and lead I'm pretty sure.

We are all glad they are both away from there. And doing well now.

No Bobby, really you know that saying it takes a village to raise
a child.

Well it still takes a village to raise an adult child at times.

My son Devin luckily didn't like the job as much as his health. So
when the headaches wouldn't let him go to work. And he was given
a choice he made the right one.

My son Dan had been there a longer time, loved the job. Still at times misses it. But finally a group of us got him to realize he needed to get away from the place. And as of now I'm honestly not trying to get him back in the work
force other than helping his dad with our houses. It gives him something to do and his dad some company.

And his dad then may not pay him much if any. But takes him out to eat and other things in place of it.

that is so utterly fantastic. Is it very hard or are you just determined?
Great ideas for getting new clients. Boy I would love a hand massage. Do you wear gloves?

Red face

Hey friends!

26 days AF, 8 pounds down, picking much much better, computer too much!
I have all of my favorite d book marks/web sites listed in a column on the left side of my page. I post on many different sites:2 different bipolar sites, nutrition and cutting down drinking to lose weight, HAMS harm reduction in cutting down drinking. face book, email weather channel, blogs etc.
Since I post on these I regularly check to see if anyone has responded. I have certain people that I follow and read to see if they have posted. We I keep going over and over to these sites it takes a long time to read up on these posts the psych central forum is very involved, very busy and hard to keep up.

I call it mental masturbation. The attention to posts that I get is rewarding..
I saw 2 clients today. one was in bed and did not need it done. So I will do her in 2 months when I come back for her hubby. sweet sweet man!
they live out of town about an hour. I see them every 2 months.

I have worn long underwear all week.
40's in the mornings then warms up to 60 today.

We have a coupon for buy one entree get one free for bonefish grill....think we will go there after jeff gets home from the student music society fraternity that jeff is the faculty adviser. They have some sort of ceremony today.
I know what I am going to get at bonefish: Lillys chicken it has spinach and basil and artichoke hearts and goat cheese and lemon butter....yummy!
I always get it.

I am still seeing a chiropractor for my neck(chronic neck pains issues) and back (I had hurt my back in August at the beach getting out of the tub)and ankle (I sprained my ankle 9-11-19).
I have been seeing him weekly going on 3 months.
Think he is helping.
Jeff just got home so will sign off.
