Yes, I totally agree with you both.

I'm just floored sometimes with things he says and does.
He isn't complaining because he spent all his money before
the end of the month. He technically hasn't had any since
about 10 to 14 days ago. But he hasn't really complained.

He ask to borrow, or get some a little, but before it would
have been I'm owed. I've come up with some things I really
needed done so he could earn some money. And that helps me
and him.

Today we went to town and shopped with Derrick, and ate at
Noble Romans, he kept sayign how great the food was.

He just is so different right now.
I'm so pleased.

I can tell you that it really is amazing what the right psych meds can do for you if you have severe BPI. You can finally get out of your own head, if that makes sense to anyone. And I'm sure that there has been a lot of maturing going on as others have said.

I'm so happy that Dan is doing so well, and he is finally helping you, Donna

Kay

You are so right. He, Derrick, Dale and I went to my Nephew Lance's Graduation party yesterday. We took two cars. Derrick and I were supposed to go earlier and eat at church with my sisters but I had an headache and didn't. But Dan picked his car up from his Uncle Walt last night. And after he gets his insurance hopefully today we will work on helping him get his license plate and title tomorrow. THey are closed today.

We are going to Will's 6th grade graduation at the elementary today at 1:15pm.
I'm looking forward to that.

Will had a great graduation. I don't care what his stepmom and
dad think they want to call it.

He is doing the best he can.

Sorry, they don't want to call it a graduation. Because he didn't
do good and pass his classes.

Well he isn't technically up to the level of the grade and its not
something he will ever be. Even if his stepmom thinks he
can catch up. He is not going to get a regular diploma and
he is special needs.

I think anyone in 6th grade needs to celebrate the fact that they
are going to the next building and technically graduated.

Just like at hte end of 12th grade he graduates high school whether
with a diploma or a certificate of completion.

It must be SOOOOOOOO FRUSTRATING for you to deal with Dan's wife's unrealistic expectations. I'm sure that you have had plenty of experience with parents like that at work, but this is your grandson (((HUGS)))

I hope that his stepmother's unrealistic expectations for him are not effecting his self-esteem in any way.

I agree with you that it is great that he IS graduating because they are moving him to a new grade for the achievements he has made, and that should be celebrated

Thank you Donna for the explanation.
They have you to help explain things to Wills step mom.
Do you try to talk to her about what you just told us?
