Thanks Blue
Honestly he changed my life. He was the reason I decided I wanted to help others with this need to start. My mother decided a few years later maybe this was why my children were the ones that were special needs in the family. Which was perfectly fine with me, not so sure about my husband. Heehee, but all three of mine needed speech services at three. ANd my oldest it wasn't normal to ask a pediatrician for a script to go to a speech evaluation at 3. So even though I got one it was considered an over protective mom. But a few years later everyone that wanted their kids to get the same thing were asking how I got it. And I told them, they also wanted to know why I felt the need. The fact that he thought I should understand his words at three and I couldn't get the sentences he gave me were the problem. But it was okay I wouldn't give up. So he got help. ANd then got more help as time went on. Donna |

Who cares if anyone thought you were over-protected. You saw and knew what to do to help your kids and you protected them like a mama bear and they have you to thank for helping them have a better chance at life *smiles*. Just think what would happen to them and your young boy you helped if you hadn't seen the need and knew just what to do. It's soo interesting how and why this happens !!! Have you considered starting a "Movement" called "This Need to Start" ? That is how a group of women got together called MADD "Moms Against Drunk Driving". Or have you considered giving speeches at local rallies about this? Getting this word out is vital to helping those less fortunate and the under served. Blue |

I am not a good public speaker. I try to do presentations on the
law for our Group IN*SOURCE its very tongue tieing for me. But the part I love the most is helping as many parents as I can. So that is what I do. Its lots of fun. Derrick did great in surgery today. He had one issue and needed a breathing treatment after the surgery. And we are watching that tonight. Will be watching his pain too. Donna |
