Thinking of you today and know the procedure will be uneventful.

Hoping your brother continues to heal.

I got my period yesterday morning, but it was very light (for once!!!), so my GYN was able to do both procedures, and everything went fine. I had an iced coffee and donut when I got home, then took a LONG nap. When the local anesthetic and pain med wore off I had some pain and cramping, but compared to other things I've been through, it was nothing.

I feel fine this morning, and I'm glad it's all over with :)

Today I'm 4 years sober. I'm proud of myself :)
There was a time I could never imagine a life without alcohol. Now, I can never imagine a life with it again. I'm happier, healthier, and safer.

Thursday, I worked off my anxiety by cleaning, and got a lot more than I anticipated done. I may sweep and swifter the hard floors in the kitchen and BR today, but IDK. I turned the AC on, but it's still very humid in here...

Like everyone else, we're having a heatwave. It will be 98-100 degrees today and tomorrow. I may have to go out and buy Corey cigarettes tomorrow, but will have to leave super-early. This is not good weather for someone with MS to be out and about.

Thank you Kay for the update. I was thinking good thoughts for you yesterday.

Will be near 100 here also. Two transformers and a substation shut down or blew(?) over the past week due to increase use of AC by residents of my small northern village. 1300 left without power and we only have about 5000 living here. Mostly farm land.

We live in a golf club community Kay, as I believe you have also. Sourounded by two golf courses. I used to play left handed, which is the extremity of my original injury. I am trying to learn how to golf right handed, but find it very difficult. It was something hubby and I did together, both poorly, but was fun getting outside.

I need to find better ways to deal/work through my anxiety. I am so sedentary. It has increased significantly and is exhausting. I did follow your lead and did some sweeping and dusting. Vacuuming is difficult, so do this in short intervals. Picked my first two cups of raspberries today. The Japanese Beatles are really a problem.

I hope you can ask Corey to pickup the cigs and get double cartons and freeze one so he won't have to travel so frequently. I used to do so much. I just had to push tasks to hubby as non-negotiable. Lots of bickering but fu@& it, just do it for gods sake! Sorry but my hubby is on my last nerve right now so I can relate.

I hope you can rest today and your body recovers without complications.

Congratulations on your 4th year of sobriety, good going !!!

And good job getting thru your procedure despite mother nature. That's behind you and thankfully you are okay !!!

It made it to 110 here, 113 yesterday. Fortunately we have not experienced a "brown-out" or even loss of power. The Senior Center attached to my building has a separate generator and was installed in the event we loose power, we can go there. But would not leave my kitty. Supposed to be hotter tomorrow, oh joy !! I tried to sit out for a bit today, but with asthma made breathing difficult.

Keep healing !!

((( hugs )))
