I'm so happy to hear that, Bobby! :):):)

I hope that with the new AC in you are able to get some rest. Those test can be exhausting (((HUGS)))

I just feel so relieved. The air conditioner is such a pleasure, I have been worried about the exam for over ten years. Whatever they used knocked me out worked like the speed of light... so fast. The doctor said the exam took 25 minutes, He spoke with me afterwards and told me the great news. When I woke up I thought I was in my own bed. I asked him to double the laxative but the pharmacy hasn't called me yet. Later in the day I threw up. I was so exhausted the rest of the day and night. My stomach is still bothering me from bloating and gas.I really thought I had colon cancer.
I had oatmeal yesterday and it didn't help. I will probably go back to him soon if it persists. Oh my blood pressure was great!
I see my g.p. today at 2. I will tell him the great news. I hadn't told him last time that I was going to have it done.

my ac froze. I couldn't turn it off or anything. I called downstairs and a little later Eddie came up. He fiddled around and it still wouldn't work. Finally he pressed the reset button which I didn't know about on the plug and then everything was fine

Wonderful news. You did it! Cross this worry off your list.

The medication usually administered before the procedure is Versed. It helps you sleep and has an added benifit of the amnesia effect. You wake up with no memory of the procedure. How convenient. Otherwise, GI docs would not be so popular.

I am also very glad you finally have a proper air conditioner. It has been warmer here with storms, high winds and lots of rain. I like the air on because of the humidity also. I hope you are resting better also.

Have you tried eating smaller meals, like half a bowl of oatmeal? I suffer if I eat too much in one sitting. Did this last night and had upset tummy. If I eat basically half of the normal amount I tolerate it better and will eat again in 2, 3 or 4 hours, rather than longer stretches between eating.

Enjoy the cool air Bobby! Hope your appointment with gp goes well.

So glad your procedure went so well Bobby.

Also hope the gp appointment goes well.

I have no thoughts on the bloating. Wish I did.

Some times I wonder if its more from not eating enough.
Weird as it sounds.

I will try eating smaller amounts. I wake a lot of times with my stomach feeling funny. My eating is so erratic. Most foods don't appeal to me anymore. I have zucchini and I will steam it for lunch I think. Ice cream always appeals to me. I want bread and rice for the acidity but I am diabetic.
Last night I ate oatmeal to try to get rid of the acidic feeling. Then I tried some more of it.I have tried anacids but they don't really work. This morning I woke and my stomach didn't feel well. Against my judgment I made coffee with half and half this morning. then my stomach felt okay.
That is so interesting about the anesthesia.I was told the procedure would be between 1/2 hour to 45 minutes but the doctor said the anesthesia would only last for 1/2 hour. Maybe he was teasing. You are right I have no memory and woke up with no discomfort.
