Oh Gosh Bobby ((( hugs ))) sorry to hear all this. Thank you for sharing this with me.

I totally get the cost of transportation and co-pay issues as I have that as well. Where I didn't want to do this, my psych doc is not charging me a co-pay at the time of visit but will eventually work out a small payment plan for me. Also, and he doesn't charge for this, I get a video chat over my iphone or internet and that is not charged to me at all.

It's up to us to be our own advocate and read all the potential side effects, sadly, it seems the prescribing docs don't have the time to do this for us. Since you already had a stroke, I am worried. Do you take a baby aspirin daily?

i take a blood thinner for life. My doctor went off of medicare and I had horrific experiences with two doctors I tried. My doctor is giving his former medicare patients a break. I think he said he usually charges 275. You are so lucky. I get klonopin every month and he charges 50 dollars just to write a prescription. I also have trouble about spending too much money. I get out of control. I have so many books and I just bought another tunic today. I have been buying toys and bones for my friend's dog who he just got recently besides giving him hamburg. His wonder dog Mickey died recently so he just adopted Danny who is an aggressive chewer. I always gave Mickey hamburg. Robert has been so good to me. I am totally terrified about my electric bill since I have been running the new ac so much. I also had two operations because of the stroke

Good news, Bobby.

I'm relieved when I recognize that my depression gets out
of the way for a while.

thank you so much. It is still gone. I practically always wake up with a stomach ache. I am sure the g.i. doctor will do an endoscopy. I can't wait to see him on Wednesday. I have tried antacids but they don't work. I am so thankful I had a colonoscopy since that ruled out a lot of stuff. I could sleep last night without the ac. I finally got four hours of sleep. I started using yellow dock and I think that helps me to go. I took magnesium citrate but that didn't work the first day.

I think given your symptoms and their duration, the gastro will likely want to do an endoscopy. I hope he will, and can rule anything nefarious out

In my experience, if the mag. citrate doesn't work night #1, if you take 1/2 a bottle day #2 and it should get things going. It's almost like it stays in your system.

I hope that the problems with the antidepressant not kicking in right away yesterday was a one-off and it works as usual when you take it today (((HUGS)))

I'm so glad you got some sleep!
I wish you would get some more tho!

thanks so much. That is interesting about the magnesium citrate. Have you ever taken yellow dock?
Four hours of sleep is fine for me. three or two is bad. i try to take naps in the daytime but it only worked once. Reading another great book! Can't wait to see what happens. I wrote Aplenzin about blood pressure and asked if an increased dosage would make my blood pressure go higher. I hope they respond.
Bobby resisting another colorful tunic. I bought some more low sodium progresso from walmart

I have never heard of Yellow Dock, but I can't take any of that stuff anymore since I no longer have any large intestines since the surgery. How is it working out for you?

Are you sticking strictly to the soup diet? Which is your favorite Progresso soup?

Do you feel that you need a higher dose of the antidepressant? I think maybe if they raise the doseage, you will probably have to keep an eye on your BP, then they will adjust your BP meds based on whether it increases or not.

Sometimes I have trouble napping during the day if my anxiety is too high. I don't like taking any Klonopin in the afternoon because I'm usually so tired anyway...

My G.P. told me I had to take my blood pressure every other day. I am on the highest dosage of the medication he prescribed but I read that other medications can be added if that medication isn't enough. My favorite soup so far is the low sodium chicken noodle. I wrote the company about Aplenzin and said I had high blood pressure and would an increase in the medicine drive it higher. I just sent it off this morning so I haven't gotten an answer. Yesterday I was terrified that it stopped working so I was curious about a higher dosage.
I have tried to use the digital scale but my balance is too off. The regular scale I own is to hard to read. I don't know what I weigh. I ordered more soup from walmart and am having low sodium soup for lunch.
Have you tried soothing music when your anxiety is too high? I have been constantly day and night been playing Josh Groban. I have been so jumpy. I don't think the 4 mg of klonopin are working at this time.
