According to the new rules, since Klonopin is a controlled substance, the pharmacy cannot dispense more than once a month. However, my psych doc prescribes 90 tablets of .5 mg every thirty days, so I can have extra in case I need more.

I don't think there are new rules. I have been on it for 14 years and the rules haven't changed in NY.
Went to the g.i. doctor who is so cute. He told me I have been overdosing on magnesium and that can be part of my stomach problems. I didn't realize how dangerous it was. My blood pressure was 120 over 80. He said it was perfect. I showed the cholesterol results I just took a couple of days ago and he said they were okay. No endoscopy yet. He wrote a new prescription for another laxative. I hope it works

Good blood pressure reading !!!

I have been on my controlled substance since the early 90's. I was told recently about the restriction in my state that pharmacies cannot dispense more than once in 30 days. Kaiser, that I used to belong in, stopped prescribing it (Klonopin).

Good luck with the laxative

I keep on running it even now I don't think I need it. I like to get under the covers. I expect a huge bill! I am really enjoying it.

I didn't have magnesium last night and I don't know if it was a coincidence but finally woke up without a stomach ache

Bobby

If the doctor said you were taking or your level was way to high
I'd not take it for quite a while. And then figure out if you even
need to take it.
