What is the name of the med so I can do some Googling? I don't blame you for being very concerned about the med based on what you have read

Call your pdoc Monday if you don't intend on taking the medication, and tell her why. From what you have said, she seems pleasant enough, and should be willing to address your concerns. See if she will prescribe something different that doesn't have the same potential side effects. You don't have to change pdocs... just change meds

When is your next appointment with her?

Did you have a nice birthday?
How was dinner last night?
