I recommend accupuncture as an add on to our medical care plan. At first, I was so desperate for anything to help. Every treatment I received helped very little. I feared my positive response would not last. I receive treatments every 6 weeks to 10 weeks as needed. It is an appointment I try to make and keep. We are in process of trying to do them less frequently.

I will be traveling to my fathers this weekend. Helped him buy and move into a smaller house in May and now need to help with painting projects. He is in his 80s and gets around far better than I do. We lost my mom 8 years ago. She lead a tragic life. His new house is a ranch style, with a good sized covered deck and nice mature yard in older neighborhood. Our family home had three floors and was in a busy area. It just sold! Bitter sweet.

your father sounds great. I had acupuncture for ten sessions with a lovely Chinese doctor. The first time I came out laughing. I didn't feel any better for the last 9

Please be careful if you are doing painting as well as other projects for him.
Am sorry you lost your mom.....tell us more if you want to.

I'm so sorry to hear that your mother had such a difficult life, and that she passed away
I'm glad that you still have your father tho, and that he sounds healthy and active.

Yes, please be careful painting. I couldn't even suggest you not to do it if I wanted to. I do ridiculous things I should not try doing all the time
I just hope it doesn't worsen your pain

Thank you so much for your contributions to the forum. You have been sharing some very sound advice, and have been very supportive of everyone. I just want to let you know how much I appreciate it (((HUGS)))
