Treatment with APLENZIN can result in elevated blood pressure and hypertension. Assess blood pressure before initiating treatment with APLENZIN, and monitor periodically during treatment. The risk of hypertension is increased if APLENZIN is used concomitantly with MAOIs or other drugs that increase dopaminergic or noradrenergic activity [see CONTRAINDICATIONS].

This might explain why my blood pressure went so high. With extra medication my blood pressure is okay. This is the only drug that works for my depression.

Some medications can increase the likelihood of strokes. That s/e is usually at the top of the list or in a black box warning if the incidence is high.

I like to look up med side effects on drugs.com, and also read that section of s/e for medical professionals, where they also list the incidence of ie/ cardiovascular events, etc in percentages. It usually does not change my decision whether or not to take a medication because many of those side effects are so rare, and can just happen to people randomly in drug trials.

How is your mood today, Mari?

Hi Mari. I have taken CBD in the past at higher doses and found it relaxing but did very little for my pain. Take it when you have nothing planned. The effects are very subtle. MMJ provides me more benefit for the cost.

It does feel good to clean the kitchen. Nice that you and hubby worked together.

Hi, For two days in a row now I used the rosacea cream that the
dermatologist gave me months ago.

I did not use it because I did not feel that it was compatible with using the CPAP mask at night.

=-=-=-=-=-

So I tried it in the day time. It mostly did not bother my skin ( some weird
feelings a little bit but it did not hurt.)

I am hopeful that, after three days of using the cream, I will see progress.

HI mari, I use the metro gel/cream in a red and white tube for my rosacea.
I had another bout of it months ago. The derm gave me 2 different types of cream to use and took pills and doxycycline low dose. mine is the acne kind with bumps too. awful.
Over time What I have left is red/scars from the pimples/bumps. They are lightening up over time thank goodness. I still use a camouflage make up because I am vane and don 't like the redness.
I hope yours helps you too.

Hubby is driving me to the 9:00 a.m. dr's appointment this morning.

The last time I saw this doctor years ago, I had what felt like a panic attack after being in the waiting room for what felt like FOREVER.

I stood up and politely as possible said that I was leaving.
Staff said that the MD wanted me to stay.

I said that I would stay as long as SOMEONE else filled out the zillion pages of paperwork.

The office manager eventually did it for me.
