I guess I won't be surprised if I see the sick tenant (MC) back here tomorrow.

I'm sorry things aren't going better with this.

I'm honestly not sure that there is anything that calling 911 will
do more than you have already done.

I would just keep doing what you are doing. I really wish you
could get in to see the other friend without M.

But I get it that you can't. I also realize you can't go with them
to her doctor. Its to bad you have no clue who her doctor is.
And can't just make sure she gets to a good doctor.

I am hoping you are knitting and paying some good attention to
music.

I can think of one more thing you might can do.

Get ahold of NAMI and see if they can help you. Not any other
Person exactly. They might at least be able to talk to you.

Bizi ~ Love the picture of Harriet, soo cute. She looks like a pampered pet *smiles* How the weather?

The police officer was very gentle and kind last night. He offered to have another officer check on her this morning and will talk to the property manager about this today. He encouraged me to reach out to property manager today as well, but not sure I want to do that. I think that might be over-reaching on my part.

I have many projects for myself today: yarn work, listening to a new book tape, and there's always lots of paperwork, playing with my cat and sitting outside a bit too. I need to get back to walking as well - gaining alot of weight lately. I need to get back to feelings of normalcy.

Seeing my psych doc on Thursday for a med check. So far no obvious side effects from the Lamictal, but then starting at a very tiny dose.

Then the following week have to start shots in my eye as I just crossed over to the wet version of Macular Degeneration.

Looking into taking a machine quilting class in the Fall.

I was supposed to travel to our community mental health for an assessment to start hooking up with a therapist this week, but I am soo freaked out over everything that has been going on, taking on something new like this is too much. Plus I have to be there for a day and wait and the assessment takes hours, they don't take appointments and I would have to sit out in the general population which will activate my PTSD/anxiety/panic. When I could drive, at least I could escape to my car to calm down, now I am dropped off and left somewhere with no safe place to go to which makes that long wait very difficult.

Okay, going to get morning coffee. I have the windows open looking at the morning sun, listening to the birds chirping and watching my cat in the window. It's a good morning... so far. Hoping for a day of calm, peace and relaxation. Plus have a few things I am looking into buying today as it's the last day of Amazon Prime Day.

Blue,

You have bent over backwards trying to get this woman help, and trying to make sure that she is safe. You are a good and caring person

But you can do no more unless she makes new declarations of s/s ideations to you...

You don't know whether or not it is your sick neighbor's decision to go to her PCP for evaluation or not. She may trust him best to tell her what to do. While it would be best for her to be evaluated by a psychiatrist (if she has one) or in the ER, it is HER life, and HER decision, about what she is going to about her situation, and you have to respect that. Her PCP may tell her to go to the ER, and she may go. If she is no longer having s/s thoughts, they may not recommend inpatient treatment, and outpatient treatment instead, and you will have to accept that, too.

I know that this whole situation is very upsetting, and REALLY worries you. Because it's also so triggering, you have to try your best to to let go for your own wellbeing, knowing you have tried your best to help her (((HUGS)))

We are listening.

And I agree with Kay. Do things for yourself today.
And be there for your kitty. Listen to your tape and do some
knitting.

OhKay ~ I agree, I have done as much as I can humanely do. I spoke at length this morning to her best friend (C) and after M left to come talk to me last night, she had her heart to heart talk with the sick tenant. C assured me that things are under control and they will be checking on her hourly for awhile.

I walked by her apartment this morning and listened, there were kitchen noises, so I know she made it thru the night. I did not go in. M did not stay with her throughout the night. I cannot control M either.

I am having a difficult time letting go of this and moving on as I feel stuck in my own experiences today that happened in the past. So, will be doing my fiber arts today and listening to a new book tape. I finally washed my hair (was beginning to look like Phyllis Diller, lol). It's going to be super hot, 100 degrees the next three days, was hoping to be able to get out and walk, but will sit outside for brief moments today to connect with nature, nature can be soo healing.

Today, my sick neighbor is being taken by M only to see her chiropractor sigh...... there is nothing I can do to push this thru to see her psych doc. She has an appt with her psych doc in September................. which I am unhappy about a wait that long and that he's not being called today, but again, there is nothing I can do about this.

You are correct in that until she makes her next "declaration of s/ideation", I am going to push thru with my life and do calming soothing things going forward. I do want to enroll in that machine quilting class coming up in September. Just being in a fabric store feels like coming home to me, same with standing in a barn full of horses. Happiness is hugging a horse. And will watch my Westerns today too.

Thank you soo much for urging me to call the non-emergency number and get a report started on her by the police. They are taking over for now also.

((( appreciation hugs )))

Good morning Donna *smiles*

Thank you for responding to my threads, it helps alot for support right now.

Just gave my kitty his morning meds, so he is knocked out for several hours. We played alot yesterday. With all the drama/trauma over the past month, I have not really been there for him.

Knitting is on my recliner waiting for me.

Chat with you later ((( appreciation hugs )))

Red face

hi blue,
do you have support in real life?
Are you married? have children to help be of support?
This all so so awful and you were stuck in a hard spot for some time.
Do you have a therapist to help with with your own mental health issues? can you call to see them soon if you have one?
thinking of you today.
(((((HUGS)))))
