Well Derrick had a great day of bowling. He also got his ear pierced
on Friday. Which we are fine with.

I am a little upset with the buses around Purdue. They didn't let the
purdue area, know that they were changing the bus routes. And they didn't let us know on the bus depot page they were. I always watch the page and I'd have seen it. So Derrick and a group of people got on at his usual stop and were taken to the Purdue airport. Way out of their area. And had to get off there or no idea how far out of the way they would have gone.

So we are trying to get him added to the access bus at night like in the morning. But I couldn't find him a ride tomorrow, which if I was going to be home I'd just go get him. So it kind of upsets me.

Ugh.

Well I had a great few days. My sister's surgery went well.
But wow, I had no idea how many allergies they have been finding out
she has. I think she probably has about the same ones my mom had.
Wow, Anyway, she went home today. And hopefully is doing well.

My other is sister is going to a cardiologist to see about her echocardio.
It wasn't the best.

Derrick and I went to help set up for the Arc's holiday dinner last night.

Then we had the dinner, It was a really nice night. We had over 120 I
believe folks with disabilities and their guest, or family members.
I believe next year I'll see if Dale wants to go with us. I think he might have come and joined us this year if I'd known he might want to I'd have turned him in as one of our numbers. Anyway, its hard to know with him.

I need to start thinking about taking Will to some of our things when he gets just a little older too, its supposed to be Adults but we have some younger kids at times. And I think it would be good for him. If he is with me.

Derrick and another young man were in charge of telling people were to put the Hats and gloves, and their coats. And then I was helping with registration.

And then we had a table for cards to the troops and I was making sure they got signed and back. So we had about 100 cards ready to go out too.
And about 5 made by some of our adults.

Then of course we had to clean up. What is really so different about this
group is once we start cleaning up or ask for extra help to set up. They come in numbers to help. So we had many helping us while others were dancing. So it took a lot less time to do this. I was pushing the broom cleaning the things on floor. Derrick and many were putting tables, chairs up. Then Derrick mopped some areas for me. And we left about 30 minutes after it ended.

It was a great night.

I forgot to tell everyone that Dan and Kortni got back together it
looks like. So its looking good. I sure hope they make it this time.
Which should happen as long as Dan stays on his meds. Which
he really has figured out makes a difference.

Derrick will be getting a new case manager. His is leaving the
agency we us. Ugh I never like this. The one he has now is
the only good one we have had.

Yes, we will. I hate this. We went through a few that really were bad.

And I've got a feeler out with one we both know to see if she has an
opening or could work it out to take him. He would really like that.

Its not common knowledge with many but she also has epilepsy and
has been great for him to know. She was the manager of the last
company he was with that was the really bad provider agency. She then
moved to be a case manager.

I'm really hoping she might help us out. She has always asked about him
when she and I have contact.

I just heard unofficially that she will pick him up on Monday.
She was picking up some of the cases. And after I made the
request because she knows his history. She let the supervisor
know that I had made the request and asked if they could move
some around and add him to her caseload.

I'm so thankful today.

Also please keep the kids in my area in your prayers. One of our 18 year olds who I knows family was killed in a car accident last night. Its going to be a rough Thanksgiving for many.
