Red face

4 weeks IP, 5 weeks of IOP Intensive out patient, 2 months back to the grind of things. Grateful to have the work that I do have. 9 weeks with out a pay check. Fortunately for us Jeffs mom left us some money so we are not feeling it. She pasted away the beginning of March. We were able to pay off the house, and 2nd mortgage. She was such a kind woman. She used to donate to a bunch of charities, so she was constantly being hit upon for donations all of the time. She gave $5-15 dollar donations. She received all sorts of trinkets from the charities, small blankets, moccasins, dream catchers, $1 bills

flags, etc. She lived frugally but was able to stay in her home. She died too young 87.

Her death was rather sudden. She passed away from myesthinia gravice. not sure of the spelling.Terrible disease. Muscular neuro involved. Exacerbates under extreme stress. Her stomach did a 180 flip. She had to have surgery to tack it in place, this surgery triggered her symptoms she wound op on a ventilator in ICU with a heart arrhythmia. They did plasma exchange like dialysis. The second treatment got her off the ventilator but before they took it she agreed that she did not want to be put back on it again. So she became a no code. They put her on a regular floor. and the boys went home.
8pm that night her vital signs were normal, at midnight the were not. The medical staff Tried to get a hold of us and could not, even jeffs brother had his phone turned off. So she died at 1am. with just the medical staff with her. That part was sad. They said she was not in any pain nor a lone. So we are grateful for that. Jeff told her he loved her and flew home.
neither boys knew that she could have symptoms again.
She lived a good life, had cared for her husband who was 10 years bed bound. He died in his sleep. years before He had had quadrouple by pass surgery. With his dads genes jeff could have inherited the disease.
jeff has been having symptoms both cardiac and pulmonary. Hopefully will be seen soon. The urgent care sent him to the hospital last week for chest pains and heart arrhythmia's he was having air hunger when he breathed in of course none of that occurred once he arrived to the hospital.

Poor Jeff.
He still is having symptoms unfortunately.
Just thought I would share a bit of my life right now.
And we are having a pandemic!!!!!

Bizi

Your Mother in law was a great women. And her son's were very lucky
to have her. My mom also did a lot for charities. And she was loved also
by many. I know the boys are missing her just like I miss my mom.

But things will get better for you all.

Keep talking to us about her. And I sure hope Jeff gets into the doctor
soon .

HIs mother always wanted to cook our favorite stew when we came up in the winter time. And a fancy pasta shrimp salad in the summer time. The last year of her life should could not muster enough energy to do all of that chopping.
So she had brian her son go to panera and got 4 large avocado chicken salads. with green goddess dressing. It was delicious!
Then there was the big "bomb" pizza from some guys pizza. with small salads that were huge. home made dressings. I liked the ranch, marysue and jeff liked the blue cheese with crumbles on top.

Our time there centered around food.

It has been hard on the sons clearing out the house. Especially Brian, he was closest to her. Bought a house 5 minutes from her house to be closer to her.
He would stop by with sandwiches or soups for her, buying her groceries.etc.
They talked every day on the phone.
Now brian is dealing with fix it up electioneer today, carpenter soon to change out the screened in porch, they had a new roof put on and foundation repair Which will take days to do.Dan jeffs friend since way back is taking care of the yard now and it looks so nice from what I hear.
rest in peace marysue!

I hope you all have a nice day. and let sleep fall upon your eyes and rest.

Bizi

I think it is probably a little more closing for Brian to do some of this
stuff since his mom his gone. I'm hoping its helping him with it
at least.

I know that it seemed to help at least one if not two of my sisters.
When we were getting my mom's house ready to sale. The other
one, though was more away from it. I think she personally had
a hard time being there.

Me I liked going and being part of the getting things together.
And now I like seeing some of the things in Derrick's house and
mine.

I miss mary sue. my mil.
when we were there in june/july we helped to

get stuff organized.I took a purple cardigan

sweater of hers and a cup and saucer for my collection.
It is pretty havulin bone porcelain It will look lovely among
the other tea cups on the living room coffee table.

Will pick up a box of things when we are there

again in december. It is so odd to have her gone.
The boys miss her terribly. Brian has been going

to her grave site and putting flowers people steal
them he just keeps bringing more. maybe he should
bring ugly ones that no ne else would want.

don't know why people would do that.

Brian has filled up his house with things he can't

bear to throw away, boxes of things

Bizi

Tell him that his mother would love for him to take a group of her favorite
flowers to his home and just remember her there also. That way no one
would be able to take them. Maybe put a nice picture of her and the
flowers out together.
