both my niece and nephew graduated with honors, jimmy from law school and just past his bar exam so he is now a lawyer. Morgan from PA physicians a assistant with honors.
I am stressing over gifts for them. We leave next tuesday, I am not ready lots of work to do. sunday I am going to do billing I need to go for work. have a good day. love bizi

I'm not good at gifts any more. So I have no idea.
Good luck coming up with an idea. Maybe ask your mom what she thinks. Also safe travels if I don't get back in to tell you. I'm not always able and I'll be helping Derrick clean the next few days. My house, heehee Donna

They are both very smart. I will get to see morgan but not jim. I left messages on both sisters message machine asking about graduation gifts. no reply so far. sigh I am stressed and overwhelmed with this trip, could be going to a winter wonder land. I am not looking forward to snow and ice. I hurt my right big toenail today. it got hung up on the inside seam when I was kneeling down and it felt like I tore it off. So tonight I get this crazy idea that I would trim it, right? nurse heal thy self. bad idea. I trimmed the right big toenail all the way down to half way back. and now it is even more sensitive. I showed hubby and he did not understand why I did that. I have never trimmed it that far down before. I was trying to even the nail out. any way.we will just have to see how it grows out, I hope I don't get an ingrown toe nail, I think I could. sigh I will do billing on sunday and laundry and fill up 2 weeks worth of meds, in pill boxes. I am working on monday will see 2 clients and see robin one last time before heading up north. I get my hair done on saturday afternoon and we leave on tuesday. tonight we went to texas road house for dinner had a couponfor a free dinner because I am a veteran. I had a pulled pork dinner with yummy rolls and baked potato with butter and sour cream, and a side salad with ceasar dressing, just ate the tomatoes and cheese and croutons. today I had lunch with my friend melissa. I got her a gift card to a favorite place called zea's. It is close to her new office, she is starting to see clients on the side of her regular job. She is a social worker. Her regular job is a manager for the state office of child welfare affairs. or something like that.....She gave me some smelly laundry soap for christmas She said to use it for special occasions. Hubby laughed at my gift..."who gives laundry soap for a gift?" I am sure it was expensive at a specialty shop. anyway, At sandras, I gave ms. chris and mr. sammie their christmas cards and gifts of cash, $50 a piece and thanked them for feeding me. they are such great cooks, I love eating there...almost daily. Such a great post.
I wonder what each nephew and niece could maybe use. I'm also wondering if they might enjoy just getting a nice restaurant gift certificate. The only thing I can think of for a lawyer, is a briefcase. And I'd be afraid to buy that. So I'm no help. Good luck coming up with ideas. Maybe you can find an ornament to represent that day the graduated too. Donna

I am getting my hair colored tomorrow so it will be fresh for the holidays.
I see 2 clients on monday then my TDOC at 3pm. I will try to get everything done that needs to get done sunday, like billing and charting and filing. am behind like usual. I will have 19 bills to send out a months worth which has been the norm lately. JEff wants to watch x-files soon and wants to go to bed early. He has been cooking up a storm. today he cooked panko crumbs and sesame seed encrusted shrimp with mushroom miso sauce. it was delicious! good night my friends and thank you for following along with my journey. I willl start a new thread for 2021 when we return from our trip up north. burr! bizi

Morgan my niece, of my twin sisters daughter, The job she applied for is over an hour away from where they want to live in IN. It is called Muncy, ball state university, a party town. So her position would be night shift in the ER. Places rarely hire new grads so this is a way to get the experience and then apply for a more local job. her S/O brandons Dad has cancer and lives in INDy. brandon works at fed ex and can transfer easily to one closer to where they will live northern INDY, fishers or carmel, Donna you know where these towns are.
My twin Gretchen went to support morgan for her graduation ceremony live streamed on the internet. It is rainy here today, I liked the young gal who did my hair today. I will get her 2 more times if I am lucky. Is 18 and married already, they eloped and will have a reception later next august. Some how they saved $8K this way. She was very thorough, and very skilled.I said it is obvious she had more experience, and was chatty and she said she did all of the girls in her senior class hair and make up for the prom. small christian school of 12 in the class probably 6 gals. still she is skilled. jeff cooked shrimp miso sauce last night and we have some left over for tonight but I bought some chicken Parmesan with noodles for either tonight or tomorrow. I bought some sour beers for me, local and very sour! almost too sour! Start my new diet january 1st. Will not drink any calories...so that means no fat pats, instead, maybe actually go to the gym to walk on the tred mill, wonder if I will have to wear a mask? I am going to not drink any alcohol. Wish me luck....this weight has to come off! bizi
