Gosh, all the best for tomorrow. We'll be thinking of you. It's so difficult waiting but you'll be glad you've done it once you heal.

I can't help with paleo diet I'm sorry as these days I'm totally vegetarian.

Just my experience, and everyone is different of course, but if I get a little sore in corner of mouth or on skin of my face I suspect I'm lacking something rather than it being caused by something I've eaten. I know years ago from time to time I'd get little dry cracks in the corner of my mouth/lips and I was told it was a lack of B6.

Then again I had a friend who was taking Lithium and she developed a lot of skin problems.

I hope the doc gets back to you to help you clarify what you can eat.

Just curious as you mentioned nsaids and aspirin. Are for the post op period? Might need something a little stronger for a day or two I should think.

Will be thinking of you. I pretty much have a doctor and dentist phobia so I'd be freaking out around now.

Sending good thoughts for tomorrow.

I know you will do good.

I will need to think about the issues with your diet.

And the fact that it takes making two meals.

Oh yeah, i forgot about the diet stuff. So just quickly, i messaged my doctor and he got back to me with reassurance that i can still eat healthy proteins like eggs and nuts etc. It was more that i stay away from sugars, processed foods, and keep carbs lower. So, i will try that. I should still be able to share meals with H for the most part.

As for the dental stuff. It went well. Yesterday i slept a lot and mostly stayed in bed, but wasn't really hurting. Was still mostly numb until evening haha
Today i was able to stay up for the day and am eating a bit more solid type foods, like noodles, bananas and pitted olives, and maybe toast tonight. H has been really helpful in preparing my meals and getting stuff from the store. My folks have stopped by a few times too to check up. I'm doing really well, considering.
Now then, my period cramps are beginning however. But hopefully ill heal enough to not be preoccupied with both together. I sleep on my stomach for my period a lot, and I've been trying not to directly sleep on my face now, but even that isn't too bad. Anyhoo, so much for quick.

Gee

I'm so glad you could update. I didn't get a chance to check in yesterday.

But about the diet just staying away from sweets will be hard if your
like me. But you can do it a little differently. Just try to fix healthy
meals for you both. By getting them good meats especially.

It's getting tougher. We're running out of soft foods and my period is happening and cramps will be here soon (worse).
I'm anxious and when the meds wear off, aching. Good thoughts and prayers are welcomed.
I'm hanging in, but still got a ways to go and fear it getting worse before it gets better. :'(

I hope you're feeling a bit better today. I wonder if you have any of those soft gel icepacks to wrap up and put on your jaws for short periods of time [if you're allowed of course]. Ask H to blend up a smoothie if you have some fruit and something like almond milk or whatever milk you drink. take care and rest up.
