My diet includes all of the foods I like swapping up veggies for starchy foods.
Like this morning I still had my BELT but swapped the brown potatoes for brocolli. They let you do that. Which is great the brocolli was steamed and very fresh tasting. I was up to 202 last weekend and the scale said 196.3, my stomach is not as bloated as it has been, have been trying to suck in my gut so my scrubs top don't look so tight. I have a doctors appointment next week my GP. She will not be happy with my weight gain. My labs are already on line so she must have seen them the only thing that is high is my total cholesterol but my HDL is high and the ratio looks great. my Calcium level is 10 which is on the high end of normal 10.2. my thyroid level was good. my bone density showed some osteopenia in my lumber spine not good. IT has a large area of results that put you into osteopenia so I should not worry about it. I could not read the grafts on the radiology report. kidneys/liver are both fine. there was some areas on my mri of my head that are questionable to me. I can't remember what it said but it had to do with small micro bleeds. I need to look at that again before I see her. bizi

thanks bobby, weighed 194.6 this morning.
alcohol really put the weight on me fast. I only eat 2 x a day and tried not to snack....I did cheat with some fresh mango slices last night that jeff had sliced up for me. that is really a high calorie fruit but I only had a med amount. need to get going running late as usual. love you bizi

I enjoy being on the internet too much.
I enjoy eating good food...too much but am dealing with this addiction. I am alcohol free for now in this weight loss journey it contributed to my weight gain 100%. I love snuggling up with my comforter. Love getting together with my friend, She is my best friend here, I think we will have lunch on thursday. eating, drinking, internet, and picking are my four weaknesses. I am trying to turn this around so far doing well. 8 days alcohol free, down 5 pounds gone, picking is under control. I could not spend just 30 minutes on line...but really do need to reel it in. bizi

I saw my family gp this morning. I like her she really listens to me.
I asked about linzess for constipation because I don't like taking 800mg of colace a day and now it is not working. I stuck a suppository up as far as I could go and did not reach any thing.held it in and after about an hour I went to the bath room and nothing came out. sigh I stopped drinking for now on jan 4 and that is when I started thinking about dieting. So I have lost a good 5 pounds in 10 days. I will be getting the covid vaccine soon I am on the list for an appointment. I tried several assisted living to see if they would allow me to get them thru them and they said no only staff who for them. I called the covid number and they said they are not taking any more appointments at this time. So I was really lucky to get put on this list as at first they said no. My pharmacy is one of the administering sights. 5 blocks from my home. So it will be really convenient for me. they call you with an appointment time. my back has been bothering me so I need to pay attention to it. maybe I will lie down on my lotus mat. love you bizi I made it to planet fitness 3 times in 10 days. tonight I went and walked 1.5 miles.

a prescription for linzess for 30 days is $465. I checked with the savings card and I don't qualify for it.
The pharmacy said it was ready for pick up maybe they have another savings card. Maybe I will try it for one month to see if it helps. sigh bizi

weight was 193.8 this morning down from 202 January 3rd..
That is 8 pounds in 2 weeks. AF for 12 days. I will take it. Intemittant fasting, no snacking after dinner, 2 meals a day like usual. no alcohol, lower carbs. It is working for me. bizi.

went to panera for dinner used a christmas gift card.
hubby had a grain bowl that he did not like because it had so much rice. He also had the brocolli and cheese soup with bread. I had a chicken green goddess salad with avocado and an egg. spring mix greens, bacon. I ordered the large one because I was hungry. Ate the whole thing. It was delicious. I tried the apple that I subbed for bread and it was mushy. yuck so I did not eat that. When I am dieting....I am always thinking of my next meal. Tomorrow will be BELT bacon, egg, lettuce and tomato on rye bread not toasted with extra mayo on both sides of the bread and a side of steamed brocolli. (instead of potatoes.) I love to eat!!!!!!!!! bizi

Well the scale doesn't lie, down almost 10 pounds in 2 weeks.
beer bloat I know but still fun to see the numbers drop. so that is also Alcohol free x2 weeks. bizi
