189.1 yay down into the 180's that is 13 pounds down Since jan 4th.
bizi Cherie, you gave up drinking eat smaller portions only eat what you love, eat more slowly. watch the carbs. my dinner last night at a friends house cooked nothing but carbs. 2 meat ball stew, 1 small piece of bread crispie,small amount of rice like a 1/4 cup. one cup of turnips 2 small servings of green beans and a small piece of lemon cake. sounds like a lot of food. oh and 1/4 cup of corn. so many carbs in one meal!!!!!! It was delicious. we played a trivia game after dinner.(I am miserable at trivia). our team won.Melissa lost and she is very competitive! well I took a shower yesterday and washed my hair so all I need to do this morning is my skin care routine. and of course figure out what to wear. I am done working for the day.
I finished the never ending charting, got caught up yay! I did 2 loads of laundry and folded them and put a way. I got my calender set for febuary. filed the cards that always get stacked up. Made a few phone calls. Faxed orders to MDS for signature. It has been a productive weekend. If I had been drinking none of that would have been done. I am drinking hot tea. Jeff went out of town to sit in with a jam session. wonder if he will play along with them? I know he will have fun either way. I am thinking I will go to burger king right down the corner from us and get the low carb whopper(no bun) for dinner.  bizi

No joke, I asked for extra mayo on the burger and they dumped 1/2 cup of mayo on my burger.I scrapped it off leaving behind some mayo., on top of cheese slices.
It was good, not as good as a regular whopper with the bread and ketchup. ended up costing $5 for just the burger. their sign says 2 whopper meals for $10. when jeff got home from his jam session. he went to mcdonalds for a quarter pounder with cheese. I am sure he enjoyed his burger more than I did. anyway I am still not hungry so that was my goal. I have drank a lot of fluid today. Hope I am not up all night going to the bathroom. the senna and stool softener are not working today. We will see how tomorrow goes. bizi

Good job on the whooper without a bun Bizi. Derrick has a trick
he gets the whole burger with the whole bun, But then he takes off half the bun and doesn't eat it. That works for him. He got a wake up call at the urologist on Thursday, and has been working to clean up his stools. The doctor informed him they thought his kidney stone is gone. But to be safe he is getting a ultrasound this week. But he has stuff in places he shouldnt so he needs to be in the bathroom all week. So we got doculax, and he has the fiber pills I had already got him. So far he is doing pretty good getting it down. But since he didn't seem to know he had a problem I'm not sure how to know if he is getting it all. Donna

Oh yes, we got lots of snow. We are in the middle of the mess I'd say.
Our kids didn't go to school Monday they had an elearning day. We were on a red day on part of Saturday and all of Sunday. So it was stay at home all day. Donna |
