Guess were going to get bad weather again. Ugh, I was sure hoping
we were going to get some nice weather soon. Oh well it has to get
nice someday right.

I have only been out about once in each of the last two weeks. That
is because of all the snow and bad weather. but that is life.

I'm going to take a week of vacation the first week of March only
because if I don't start taking my 4 weeks soon I might loss some of
them. I have to take them by the end of June. Usually I loved taking
all of it in June, but they like us to spread it out. Because some one
needs to answer the phones.

So I will try to save two weeks for June. But that is all.

No I don't plan to do anything special. I might go for a few days to
Kokomo to see my sisters. We will see.

Yes it will be. Its been so hard to go anywhere with the way the
weather has been. So I'm really looking forward to it.

I am hoping my sister that works is off before to late in the day. I think
she is.

I'm also hoping the derrick will be okay with taking care of
Jake for me. Jake has a really hard time being on his own that long.

So I'm hoping this will work.

Guessing sometime Sunday I will be taking Jake to Derrick.

Anyway he got a new provider to go out in town with today. He met
her yesterday. So we are really hoping she will work out. They go
from 3:15 to 5:15 today. He just wasn't sure what he wanted to do.

Its been so long since he has had someone other than the Wednesday
lady that mainly get him groceries and runs errands he will have to
adjust to this.

I will have to find this out probably this weekend when I talk to
Derrick. I'm hoping once or twice a week. I now he only has
about 8 hours for this kind of person. But when he finds a job
he wont have a whole lot more hours than this for someone.

I'm just glad they finally found someone again. Its been
a long road waiting till they could find someone. Its not easy
in Lafayette to find someone or most of the state of Indiana.

You can usually make more working fast food or other places.

As luck would have it his new provider couldn't start. Her mother
had to come out of a nursing home she was in or something like
that and is waiting on another placement. And her daughter
is the one taking care of her till she is placed.

But this we can understand and hope that one day she will get to
start with Derrick. He had my dog last week and they did good together.
And with dobey.

He seems to be doing a good job lately. And is working on job interviews.

I'm getting ready for an case conference. Its been a busy week.

The last two days were catch up for me. Today a little slower but not
much. I will be fine though.

Okay, yesterday I got both Dan and Derrick extra coverage on
medicare. For vision, dental and Fitness center.

I'm so happy. Dan especially needs the dental but it will help
Derrick too. He will be able to use the vision for every year

I forgot to tell you, Derrick is getting his Covid vaccine starting next
Friday through the company that is his provider. I need to get
mine scheduled. I was waiting till I got back from vacation, then
I got swamped with work and just haven't gotten it done.

Okay, I finally got back to posting on my thread. Heehee, I kind of hijacked
Bizi's the other day.

I had a great weekend with Meluvja at a arts and craft fair. Jake had a great week with Derrick. And I bought Derrick some things I knew he would like
at the fair as a thank you. A new ring and some bath bombs.

Anyway I saw Derrick yesterday we went to pizza hut for lunch and did some grocery shopping for both of us.
Since Dale has been sick Dan had been taking care of the cats for the weekend.
And he did a great job too. I'm guessing that Kortni did some reminding for
him too. But that is okay too. He has been doing great with his shot of meds
a month. And he stops by an visits a couple times a week it seems.

Dale went back to work today. Still waiting to hear how that is going. This is the most he has taken off for being sick. So I am glad he did that at least.
Since he only gets paid when he is there its hard to take the time off.

Say some prayers that I can figure out what to do. I was going to keep
Derrick's primary doctor because we both like him. He has been my doctor
for years. And Derrick's I believe for about 9 years going on 10. But with the
change in his insurance on the medicare side. He isn't on his plan, and I'm
having trouble figuring out if I can work out how to get all the testing he
might need done if I keep him with him. I really don't want to switch him.
But am not sure what to do. I'm willing to pay for his visit its usually once
a year. But I can't afford all the testing he does. I know all I have to do
is have him write the scripts for the blood work and take it to a authorized
place. But its the ultrasounds and other things he does I'm worried about.

Donna, cal the billing office to see if they accept medicare or medicade

for the ultra sounds it may be different. If that makes any sense.
So you can get a better picture of future expenses. Just because on doctor ordered it doesn't mean they won't approve it. call and find out.

The problem is he uses his hospital and we can't take Derrick there so it would make it a real problem. I really wasn't worried till I started thinking about all
the things that they have done there. I'm still working on it.

I've found someone that I think might be a good switch and Derrick
would like. The other issue is I'm not sure how old our Doctor is and
I have wondered how long before he retired.
