It makes me so sad to read how frightened and worried you are feeling. It's all particularly overwhelming at the moment. I feel it too. Sadness and anxiety are already heightened due to the situation we're all living in due to the pandemic, but adding everything else that's going on this week into the mix, it seems the world is off its rocker.

I would normally use the garden as my refuge but haven't been feeling interested lately or had the physical desire to do anything. I do watch a lot of shows about animals, like the koalas that I posted yesterday. I check on the bird feeders around the US and other places. They're great to see.

I sew too but need to be in the mood for that. There are so many ideas online these days that I don't really need to go out for books or supplies. I just use what I have. Going for a drive always made me happy but I can't just get in the car and go like I used to for medical reasons. And of course, I know you can't go anywhere like that. Call someone if you get too lonely. Try not to read or watch the news too much.

Make sure you get as much light into your place as you can during the day and that it's not too dark. That darkness day and night can upset our circadian rhythm and make it difficult to sleep is my personal experience anyway. If you have a balcony get a little sun on your skin if it's at all possible.

Take care there Bobby.

thank you so much Lara. I don't know if you knew I once had 14 birds, parakeets, two starlings, two mourning doves, a big parrot for a while and a cockatiel besides two littermate schnauzers and always two kitty cats and one time three kitties.. i really hope these precious creatures go a better place. i just love animals so much. i shared your video with a close friend who had 9 kitties and a young doggy. she wrote she wanted a kaola.
thank you so much for being empathetic. in my long life i can't remember anything so painful. i do have a terrace but i haven't used it. i am afraid the kitties might go out and everything seems like such an effort. i do read a lot and now am trying to read the psalms for comfort. did you know king david had 18 wives besides concubines. my rabbi said it was to cement relations with neighboring tribes.
take care,
fondly

It has never really held my interest the national news unless they
are discussing something I'm interested in. I listen to a little on
the tv when nothing else is on. But I read on the internet, and other
places just to know what is going on. Then the person who thinks
he knows everything(Dale) tells me everything in his opinion
which is usually why not what I wanted to know. Heehee.
So having to listen to the news with him isn't fun. So I watch shows
instead when he is around.
Otherwise he is yelling at the tv even when its something he agrees
with. And I can't hear a thing anyway.

Gosh, one thing on top of another. It never ends. Bobby, I hope you have a good supply of non perishable food items and water. Batteries for a torch if you have it. Candles. I guess you may lose power if it gathers strength??

Have you found your phone yet?

If you still can't find your phone, go ask one of the neighbours to call it when you get back home.

When you do find it, charge it. If you use a laptop, charge that too.

Easier said than done, I know, but you have to try to stay calm.
