i am now in a fine mood. i am rereading another one of susan elizabeth phillips books. i have two more of hers to reread. i just love her. yesterday i found another bottle of ramipril. that relieved me. i was afraid i would run out and have to pay full price. back to reading

The fastest ticket out of a bad mood is still the simplest: a riveting read. Studies have linked reading to improvements in depression symptoms, as well as mental flexibility and brain function. Make sure it’s a pleasure read -- not the news, your computer manual, or even your latest book club pick. Find a book you’ve wanted to check out or a juicy magazine. Sock away at least 30 minutes every day to read in peace.

Bobby
You said, the fire department said, the landlord had to fix it. So I just
meant he would need to call them to ask how to get the landlord to
fix it. Or ask who to call.

Also see if finding something nice to think of when you wake up
would help. Like your kitties. And other things, I can't seem
to think of yet.

great idea. i don't know if robert has done that yet. after my explosion i am still terrified of fire and he lives on the fourth floor with his doggy and kitty cat.
i can't break the depression when i wake up. i can't remember when this started. it is so awful.
something funny happened. i wrote to joyce and told her about the roaches and then i wrote rats instead of sh@T OR F@#K. She thought i had rats too.
i was doing some research whether butter or margarine was healthier. an article said both were unhealthy but if you used margarine with olive oil or vegetable oil that was good. i bought some and it was okay.

I need to ask someone else I can't remember what but there is something
you can use that I think its roaches don't like. Let me work on this.

There are some natural ways, but I wouldn't use them near the kitty cats. Some natural oils are deterrents and there's also boric acid and sugar apparently although I've never used that. I live in an area where there are the big flying ones that sometimes sneak in. They're gross although the tiny little roaches are worse.

I use whole cloves here and there in cupboards. They keep ants away. Peppermint oil is good too and think that works for roaches. However, if they're those tiny little brown roaches the building people should spray but they'd probably use a poison one and not a naturspray which is a pain.

I prefer taste of butter especially for cooking but haven't used butter since I started eating vegetarian. I use a plant margarine now if I need any. Some nut butters are nice.

I quite like a cashew butter but that's more of a spread. I found that my cholesterol used to go up a little bit if I ate too much better. Not now though. All my blood tests are perfect. Go figure.

that is so great about your cholesterol. congratulations.
i have to look up cloves. i have peppermint essential so maybe i should try it again. i have boric acid with sugar but haven't seen any dead roaches. they really fill up the roach motels fast.
fonfly,
bobby

Red face

We had sugar ants and have big roaches that come in occasionally.
I was tired of the ants so went to our local grocery store the

only thing they had was ant and roach liquid killer. it comes in
a squirt syringe I put it in places that the cats don't go to. I also put it on an outdoor edge of the kitchen sink where they were coming in.
have not seen any ants or roaches.
I hate roaches especially once one flew at me. I did not know they flew!
I screamed when it did that.
I hate roaches what good do they do?

that sounds so scary. i never saw one fly. i have also used a few sprays. do you remember the name and if repelled or killed or repelled them when it dried?
i put two new ones in the kitchen and this morning they were empty and i didn't see any roaches. i am so stressed out by them.
cleaned myself this morning which was easy. last night finished a book i had read before and will start reading another i read by the same author. then hopefully my depression will leave me. just plan to have a couple of those low sodium campbell's chicken noodle soup.

Bobby

I have decided that the roaches are causing your depression when you wake
up in the morning. Yes, I know it was already going on. But I like this
idea better then if and when you get rid of them, the depression goes with them.

I wish it was that easy, its not I know. But sure love that idea.
I also hate the things, but I hate what is at my house worse. And
its that time of year. But I can't seem to get them out at anytime
anymore. Its mice. I'm hoping my two kitties are still on duty but
they kill them and leave them for me to find.
