Bobby, that's a good first step you did by getting into the bath to test out the rail. Maybe if you try a few times it'll be easier to use with water. I understand how you'd be afraid of falling again. I have an anxiety "disorder" and have panic attacks on and off during my lifetime. Very frightening. Haven't had one in a very long time which is strange considering how much time I spend in places that frighten me (hospitals and medical places I mean).

Just so you know, I've had allergy problems since my AstraZeneca vaccine. It's been nearly 11 weeks since my first one. It's supposed to be 12 weeks apart, but I have to fit it in around the middle of my treatments. I'm due for the 2nd one on Thursday and am having to premed with antihistamines before and after for a little while ... see how it goes. I am not as good a speller as I used to be either. In fact I notice I don't even use correct grammar anymore. I tend to leave out words. The internet made me bad at both.

Hopefully you and pudge are feeling better today?

oh wow. I am so sorry you had panic attacks too. I am so glad they have gone away. Did you suffer from depression too?
I am sorry you are now dealing with allergies from the shot. You already have way too much. I had Moderna. I think it has been six months. I have searched over the net to try to find if other people have experienced allergies. Mine are much less lately. I am hoping that my spelling and occasional brain fog might also go away with time. I keep on looking to see if anybody else is experiencing these side affects after being vaccinated. Now I also often don't finish a small word
or leave out a letter or even a word.. It started after i was vaccinated.

Pudge is eating and drinking again this late afternoon.. I was in such a bad place until she began eating and drinking.
I am going to the dentist for a cleaning tomorrow late afternoon with my helper Marci. I can't go anywhere alone because of my walking and balance. I might have hurt a tooth when i fell. i hope i didn't do much damage or else i would probably need new lower denture and a tooth pulled,
When we come home i will take a bath when she is here. she also comes 4 hours on Tuesday so I will take another bath and see how it goes. The bath rail is really great.
It took a long time before my new allergies got better. I hope that happens to you too.
fondly,
bobby

I hope you didn't damage your teeth from your fall. It's good you're getting it checked though. Great idea about having the bath when Marci is there.

Such good news about Pudge. I hope that she keeps drinking and eating now as she usually does. She just must have felt off for some reason.

[I don't like being in busy, fast paced places with noise and fluro lighting etc and am not fond of lots of people so it all becomes overwhelming for me. I also don't trust people especially in hospital settings. Don't like traffic, traffic lights, shopping centres, you name it. I'm very much like a hermit if I only could be again. I do get very down from time to time and had some really bad bouts when I was younger but these days it's mostly situational and I get down due to the changes suddenly in my life that I have no control over. Having to go to the hospital on 3 days every 3 weeks has really done me in ]

The pharmacist at the hospital talked to me about the allergy business although she mostly talked about why my particular treatment would make me more susceptible. Everything seemed to flare up with my vaccine including my neuropathy and I'm thinking that's histamine related flare up as well. I'm sure it'll all settle down soon. I don't like taking medications but I'm happy to take these antihistamines for a week or so to see how it all goes.

Monday morning here. I guess it's Sunday evening there. Have a good evening!

Bobby

Just like humans Kitties like to change their food at times. So I'm guessing
she wanted different food. My cat didn't used to eat treats or human
food. I'd have sworn the black cat Christina never would have one day she
asked me for a bite. So I gave her one. She just looked and nibbled and
then left it. I gave it to the dog after she left. But she after a while ate
something I gave her when she asked. Now she does most things.

She is very picky too.

life is really weird. i didn't tell my doctor about the allergies, brain fog episodes and spelling etc because i don't like hospitals or tests. I must be stupid.
I am mostly isolated but i read a lot and listen to music at the same time.So many things bore me but i am still very curious. I don't like noise. i think because of anxiety i seem to need both reading and music at the same.often i repeat the same music over and over.
did you know that sometimes it took leonard cohen five years to complete a song. somebody asked bob dylan how long it took him to write a particular song and he said 15 minutes lol. i read that Cohen suffered from depression so much of his life and pills didn't help. then he tried mediation and after a while he no longer had depression. my mind races too much to do meditation.
i only like people who are kind. i just realized it lately. all those years i wasted dealing with most people who were not kind.
i am wondering if Pudge stopped liking the food i had been giving her so long.
fondly,
bobby

interesting. i kept on giving them expensive prescription because pudge has a sensitive stomach. now i bet she won't eat it again. i have tried to give her treats or human food but she shows no interest.

i probably will wait longer to use the bath tub. i was cleaning the toilet this morning and had such a hard time getting up. i don't want to try the bath tub. i just hope i stop falling. i tripped a few times in the past couple of weeks but didn't fall.
in the past i did try p.t. four times but i thought it was a waste..
i am also upset with the grooming place. they want cats to also corona vaccines. my vet doesn't carry them.
i read an article that said 200 cats globally had covid. big f@#king deal.
worse comes to worse i will just brush pudgy more and f@# the groomers and let her stay a long haired cat instead of getting her lion cuts.
today i feel miserable. i did finish a book i liked.
i am worried about talking to my new volunteer tomorrow night. i hope he talks a lot.and i can think of questions to him. right now i am just filled with negativity.

Bobby

I'm sorry the grooming place is wanting the cats to be vaccinated.
