The last hospitalization got me off of geodon though I became quite psychotic. did not realize that doing so was going to be as bad as that.That was april 2020.
I needed to be there and hubby thinks I was let out too soon. THe IOP was the place that was stabilized until I quit it with one more week left I had been away from my job for 9 weeks. I had quit my business at one point trying to make things work out. covid was all the rage so I could not work until we went to phase 2.
If we go back to phase one I will have to stop working again. I don't see that happening. I get my booster shot tomorrow at 9;30am.
there is compitition in my work, some other lady is a nail tech I think. and offers manicures and pedicures, she almost stole my client. I saw her yesterday from 3-430pmand talked and she decided that she still wanted me. So that was good. I will always schedule her at the end of my day so I can spend more time with her. She is lonely and veryhandi capped.in a wheel chair.

laundry is in my future and first I need to get dressed and go out to breakfast. got up at 10 am weighed myself at 189.6!!!!!!
So I broke the 190,s hopefully never to return again. this weight loss has been bit by bit.
8 pounds lost since nov 1st.

Bizi

What else do you like with your tea. See if you can find a way to spice
it up a little so it taste a little better to you. Not alcoholic exactly but
so it has a little zap to it.

Also I don't think there is any problem with maybe doubling even
your number of the drinks to 6 but I think if you could keep them
to 4 or 5 that would be great.

hi donna,
I limited my NA partakes to 3 because there is a small amount of alcohol less than .5% then I switched today to heineken 0.0 which has no alcohol in it at all. total calories today from drinking these NA beers is a total 168.

but it has 69 calories. 6 times more than what the partakes have.
Since it is the weekend I am going to have another heineken.
I hope that jeff gets home soon. I am hungry. Had a light lunch
I brought home the rest of the chef salad that I did not eat.
jeff just texted me that he was on his way home. he went to a recital of a faculty violin and viola. there was a reception for him at his house. so jeff went after the concert. I did alot of chores, laundry is still in the dryer. The bathroom rug is still in the washer.
I scrubbed the bathroom floor and kitchen floor.
went grocery shopping and spent over $200 total from 3 different places. Bought my first christmas present for my sister this hair spray that she uses.
WE are going to eat out YAY!

Hey Bizi! Good to see you again.
argh that's frustrating when you find a drink you like, but it's more calories than an alternative. I have a similar problem with ice cream. I'm supposed to be dairy free, but the ice cream I like that has less calories, no added sugar (or zero?) is NOT dairy free. So it's still a guilty pleasure on some level. *shrugs*

yes the partake have a little bit of alcohol
so I need to keep to that limit of 3.
Which I have not 2 weeks ago when I

discovered them I drank 8 one night. not good.
since then I have limited it to 3.

then if I want more than I drink the heineken 0.0 for no alcohol at all yet there is no carbonation so there is no burn in the back of the throat.

like a regular beer.And it has more calories.
I feel like I am repeating myself.

I wouldn't worry about calories right now. I would just be jumping for joy that you found something really that helps you finding an alternative to beer. It takes so very much determination to do what you are doing. I can't convey how proud I am of you. I don't know what Jeff is saying or thinking. It would be so nice if he held your hand. I know weird but that is me.
I pray that you are still not feeling deprived. Thanksgiving is a toughy. -chose whatever no alcohol beer or little alcohol beer you want and don't worry about calories. you have a major battle just a head of you.

my back has been really bothering me I ask jeff if he would rub my back with hemp salve this seemed to help along with a left over muscle relaxer.

I agree, don't worry about calories right now. You're doing a great job! And I miss stuff sometimes so repeating is not a problem

Will keep you in my prayers for Thanksgiving. Honestly, it's a bit of a hard holiday for me these days too. More the fact that I do not really eat much with the family. I have such a specific diet that I tend to eat first and then visit.
But Mom got some biscuits and crackers and there are usually veggies...and I make an exception for holiday cookies/sweets, but I do have to limit them and be sure to eat healthy the next meal.
It sucks though because Thanksgiving is such a food heavy tradition and I miss out on a lot of that. Oh well, getting used to it year by year.
I hope folks don't mind me sharing on their threads. Just having conversation. <3
