I hope you had a good meal. We went to Golden Corral which
is a buffet. About 11:30 got out about 12:45. Had great food.

The 4 of us, Dan Dale, Derrick and I. We also went to Big Lot,
Dollar General and Meijer so we could shop a little. I got to
see what my son got Harmony for Christmas. And I got myself
some new boots.

Drinking the partake was easy to just blend
in I had 4 there and 2 when I got home so

that was 6 for the day. pretty good I think.

I did have a cup of tea, sleepy time tea when I ran out of "beers".

Only the hostess there asked me what I was drinking.
so I told her all about the partakes.

No one else cared what I was drinking.
I am full from dinner, but not overly stuffed.
I tasted every thing in small amounts had
seconds for fruit and cranberry sauce that I made.
Then I had a piece of pecan pie.
our friend paul got folding tables and 4 chairs so we fit
9 of us in the living room.
Mary catherine cooked every thing at her house and

brought it to pauls. One of the guest was gluten intolerant.
So there was separate dishes, gluten free this or that.
Jeff and I brought green bean casserole and cooked it there.
The fruit salad was a big hit. Still had some left to bring home.
people complimented me on the cranberry/lingonberries

sauce that I made...
My back is much better thank goodness.
we came home and binged watched jerry seinfeld.
too funny.
It was a good day.

I stopped by fat pats today around 3;30. stayed until 4;30.
Had diet dr. pepper I had 3 of them. and an egg sandwich
which was delicious. Their buns are to die for they are super sweet.

They grilled them for me. I used mayo so was not the most healthy of sandwiches. Got home around 5pm jeff was wanting left overs.
I was not hungry so had left over meat loaf and green beans and fruit.

We both had a fabulous cherry pie a friend brought over because we did not go with them to Susy and Nells dinner.

We already were invited from last year so we could not back out.
Sue made the cherry pie and we know they are leaving

the area and are moving back to california. So this would be the last thanksgiving here.
Sues husband Mark was hired to start a traditional music program.
He did a good job. They will do a national search to replace him.

Susy makes a green gumbo she calls it from the left over turkey

and boils the carcass to get all of the bits of turkey to make a

broth for the green gumbo. She makes it with a lot of leafy

veggies and usually adds some sausage. to it.

It is delicious!
We are going to reach out to her to see if we can come

even though we did not make their thanksgiving this year.
I hope this made sense. I am on a sugar high from pie.

It makes sense too me. Guessing it means you want to say good bye
but didn't go for dinner. So want to go late for a visit.

Thanksgiving turned out fine. marycatherine(will call her MC)

brought everything over, I don't think Paul cooked anything.
MC cooked things gluten free, So we almost had 2 of everything.
You had to be sure you knew which was which. and to not switch serving spoons.
paul was pretty quiet. he had borrowed 2 large folding tables
and some chairs so that all 9 of us could eat together.
MC cooked the turkey at home and just reheated it again at pauls.
there was gluten free: gravy rolls crackers, stuffing, pies.
I did not over eat.
my weight was 188.8 this morning. Jeff is at the foot ball game with paul.
They took an uber there from pauls house. they like to walk in with the band
( it is very exciting to to be right there on the field when the players run out).
and sit with the band. It is raining right now jeff brought a rain coat and has

long underwear on with multiple layers it is in the 50's.Very gloomy.

I will go out and buy a chilis gift card because Jills birthday is the 7th of december.
jeff said he would call me to pick them up after the game.
so I had better go and get the gift card and see if they have any more partakes.

I had lentil rice casserole, some tabouli, and some humus I left the chicken for wed when jeff is not home I also have some left over green bean casserole and soup small amount of that. trying to clean out the refrigerator.I stopped by the meat market today at lunch to pick up food for the freezer.We will have chicken patties that we love and fresh asparagus also.
