How's it been going back at work this past week?

I'm hoping you're doing alright and totally over your covid symptoms by now. . As far as the alcohol is concerned, I think you've done marvellously well, all things considered, to go as long as you have done especially with Christmas, Birthday and New Year celebrations and travelling as well. Stopping alcohol after so long would be terribly difficult for anyone especially when surrounded by people who drink in front of you whether that's at home or at your dinners out. It actually seems as if it's a really social lifestyle. At least to me it does, but then I'm a bit of a hermit really so any going out is social to me. lol. I don't know what the answer is but I do imagine it must be very hard going for so long. I hope you can concentrate on how well you have done in recent months and not let the disappointment of last week get to you. It all seems like so much pressure on yourself day in and day out. I don't know how you do it. We're all here for you to talk if you need.

Thank you my friends.
I have been busy with work, and I am sorry for not getting back to you.
My main intention for not drinking is to lose weight. I stalled and
felt that I guess it did not matter if I drank or not so have had drinks all of this week. I did not drink for 3 months and lost a good 16 pounds.
Soon I will go back to drinking my partakes. I stocked up on them.
bobby, I drink to deal with my shyness/anxiety.
If I am perfectly honest I like to drink and feel that it is not to excess
(except for one night when I drank too much and got sick).

if bloomberg hadn't raised the price of cigarettes so high here i would continue to be comforted from smoking and f@#k lung cancer. Nobody could say anything to stop me or I wouldn't care if I were judged

I have been drinking every night. I plan on giving up drinking

for lent even though I am not catholic.
That is 46 days so one month and a half. Is doable.
