i just feel donna is so right. being weak can make you more more an easy target . pamper your yourself. the more sleep and liquids the better.

Tomorrow I will be able to leave the house. that will be 10 days of quarantine time from covid.I did not sleep as well as I would have liked. got out of bed at 1030am instead of noon like I have been staying in bed.I slept in with my husband last night, think my back likes the spare bed room better. So today I made the bed back up to a nice look compared to what it looked like before, a mess.
I think my case was a mild case. no fever just that nasty cough until I got the delsunm cough syrup, that helped a lot. My throat was raw from coughing I never got any worse so did not use the inhaler nor take the antibiotics he prescribed. I don't believe in taking antibiotics for a virus. This never got into my chest it was all in my nose and throat.

And Bizi, you haven't lost your sense of taste, have you? When I had covid starting the last week of December, I lost all sense of taste and smell and still haven't gotten it back. This is AWFUL.

Wren, I'm sorry to hear that you've been sick as well. I hope that awful side effect with your taste and smell is resolved soon. It seems to happen to a lot of people unfortunately. Such a nasty virus. It has the potential to cause so many problems.

I imagine it affects your desire for food because smell and taste have so much to do with what we want to eat. Make sure you're getting a good variety and quantity if you can stomach it.

I hope you're both feeling 100% better very soon.

I have the clearing of the back of my throat still.
i went out today with mask on and
went to sandras to pick up some sort of soup.
So I got some seafood broth and a pouch full of tuna
and added some half and half and cajun spices and

it was good not great but definitely drinkable.

I ate out the tuna fish pieces and slurped the

remaining broth.
I also picked up some chowder soup by AMY's

I also ate some cheese with sun dried tomatoes
and basil. and drank a couple of NA beer.

Am going to see jeff play with the quartet

at el paso restaurant. They play jazz. lol
my posture bra came in and it hurts in a

couple of places. I don't like it.
it digs in right at my sternum.

Laura - the major problem for me is that not having a sense of taste I want to keep eating. Nothing has a taste, so I try something else, then try something else. I even go to my favorite Chinese restaurant and gobble all sorts of food.

It can be deadly for people with other illnesses

as we have heard all about on line or where ever
you get your news from. I get a brief morning

report from the washington post emailed to me.
They just give you tid bits of news, you have

to buy the subscription to get more details or

even any of a story. I choose to keep it simple.

I don't watch the news.Call me ignorant or
uninformed or too sensitive, by my choosing.
I will stick to the post for news it works for me.
