Tonight I spent 2 1/2 hours watching Harmony with Dan. While
Kortni had a break. Then had supper with them of pizza.

I was just kind of there when she wanted to come see me.
It was nice to see her. She is growing so much, I'm hoping soon
she starts to get more up to speed with her age. She still seems
a lot behind. But that isn't unusual.
For having disabilities. We will see what they say when she has her
transition meeting in May. And gets ready to go to kindergarten.

Hello everyone:

My cancer check up went great. I was fine and everything is
great. I have one more 6 month appointment then I go to yearly.

So it was good news for me. I've been wondering how long it
was till it was 5 years. So its close to that.

Then I went to O'Charleys and had lunch . Got to see Derrick busy
at work. He was doing his job host and at that time to go. And doing
a great job. Learned from our favorite bartender. That she and he
were the only ones working for probably almost an hour till the
servers started coming in. So they had been busy.

I don't think he was. He was to busy doing two jobs. And doing a
good job at both jobs even though he needed to be in the back
of the house as he calls it during the first of the time when I was there.

I find it so funny he always says hello mother to me in there. Not sure
why he calls me mother in there. Because its usually mom but that
is fine. I almost always sit in the bar area with the girl that served me.

He did get the rolls and first drink for her. For me.

ps. After we got dinner tonight, we came to my house. We go to the banquet tomorrow. I really think he can use a change of senery

Derrick and I had an great time at the banquet. He was so inspired
that he wants the Benton county club to have one too. So he will
talk to the two other ALU members which is the two that go to
the university classes he goes to. And see if they can get with the coach
and plan one after maybe summer and national games.

He has some great ideas.

Yes, he is high functioning. He will just need some help pulling
his ideas off. But many of our kids with disabilities can do these
things when they put there mind to it.

Okay, second doctors appointment over.

I forgot to tell you what my blood pressure was. It has always been
high as you guys know for a few years now.

Well I found a solution to get it closer to normal about a year ago.
so now its still a little high, but today it was 134/86 which is still high
but its so great for me. They like it any where under 140 and when
its under 135 they really like it. I realize its still high but I've been working
on getting it down. And I'm so happy.

I finally have figured out I have to remember to tell them not to use the
machine and to use the manual machine, it works better for me. It helps
a lot. Last week, I was so happy even the small cup fit my arm, it just made
my blood pressure go over 140. So the girl had taken it again and it went
down a lot so they were happy.

So will keep going as I can. Now for my really big news to me. I've been
working on weight loss, its not fast at all for me. Nothing has ever worked,
and it just has to be what I can do. Today I weighed just about what I did
last week, usually its about either 3 lbs higher or lower one appt, or the other.

But it was 212 last week, 213 today. With shoes today. So I could easily have
weighed less, and I have needed to have a bm. but couldn't finally did
when I got home. So who knows maybe soon I'll get to my wish for a 200.

That is my immediate goal, if I can I will be so happy we will see.

I've been working for years on this. From 250 to almost 210 in probably 4 years.

such fantastic news. please donna help me. i know a lot of my depression comes from bipolar and loneliness.
