I am not sure about calling 911, but you can totally call adult protective
services explain what is going on. They will take the report and should
come to you, and listen to your recording and anything else you have
that will show what is going on. And make a report. And hopefully
figure out a way to help you.

I can't give you a phone number for Adult Protective Services because
each state is different look your state up and call them.

I'm guessing we will all be praying you can find some answers and
relief. Keep us updated.

I'd like to say hello to everybody. I haven't been here for several years or more until yesterday. That's a good idea, Donna. I don't want to call the police, but Adult Protective Services is a good idea. I see my therapist tomorrow and I'll see if she has gotten in touch with the head of this county's mental health service. If they still do nothing I can call Adult Health Services. Thank you for that recommendation. BF:hug::hug::hug:

Friend,
They were called a few years ago more than once with Derrick's situations
with first a roommate, but nothing could be done. Because in that
case the provider, it was the other kids person. Was really working hard to
correct the situation, not the same situation your having though. We didn't
have them involved, which I honestly didn't think about when we moved
Derrick out, I wish we had. They would have probably acted on what happened.

Also when the dog bit Derrick's dog they were on the list that was called,
and put in the report. But because Derrick wasn't hurt. And the provider
was taking care of things. There was nothing they could do. But they
did make sure he was okay.

The last time was when a provider, had a person, who dropped him off
and left him at the wrong place. And didn't make sure he was with the
people he was supposed to be with. See he was taking a access or little
buses home with his friend. But he was left at a location accross purdue
from were he was supposed to be. He had to walk to find a place
open. He had called, me and I got the police involved, finding him.
And getting him to the right place. They were the one's who called Adult
Protective Services. Because he was okay then, and the person who had
done it was taken away from his service and retrained if used from someone
else nothing was done for him. But they have always checked on him.

Please keep us updated, and come back that is why we are here.

I'm sorry that Derrick has been through hard times. I hope that he is doing well at this time. I have written down "Adult Protective Services" as a possible contact group for me to call if this situation in this house spirals out of control. When the person in question goes on a rant with me I plan on going into my room. There is no way that I can reason with him at any time. His personality will not cooperate.

Derrick is doing pretty good right now. Other than the problem he
had at work last Friday, that they took care of.

I hope that you will keep a good record of what is happening
and call next time it happens.

Thank you, Donna. Things are peaceful in the house at this time. I do have adult protective services in my mind if needed. That was a good idea that you gave me. I would have never thought of them if you hadn't refreshed my memory about the service. Thank you so much. I hope that Derrick has a good weekend, and you too. BF:hug::hug::hug:

I'm so glad your having a better week right now.

Yes, Derrick had a good weekend. And he is having a good week.

I"m out at my house right now. Since I knew he wasn't going to
need me a while.
